I think this greatly requires attention!

Giggity...
Sorry, just couldnt resist..
But I do agree.. even when you try to resolve an argument with kind words..
theyll just swear and then kick you =] -
I disagree with you on a few points. My main point is that it is not your nor the community's responsibility to manage the upbringing of these children. Parents have allowed the raising of their kids to be delegated to schools and the media, so that they can work longer hours and make more money. Swearing is a moot issue. "Damn" and "By God" were swears once, censored. Words people don't agree with usually get censored because they are deemed to powerful expressions of negative (and sometimes positive) emotions. Also, I think one of the biggest issues is that parents want an in-between between raising their kids and leaving their kids to be raised by their experiences in the world. I personally believe that if we stopped trying to pretend like the world is so rosy with kids, there would be less of an issue. This study may not mean anything, but it has been found that the higher the legal age for consuming alcohol, the more people are inclined to abuse the substance once they can legally consume it, and if people are exposed to moderate alcohol consumption at an earlier age, or if they grow up with a parent that abuses alcohol, they are less likely to abuse it themselves. This is to say that if we stop hiding the world from kids, a world that they will eventually experience anyway, it may do more good than harm. (Note, I am not saying that anyone should go expose their kid to alcohol, but if my kid asks me what it is, I'll tell him. And I'll tell him what's wrong with it, and I'll tell him why some people like it, but I'll also tell him the real reason why people drink.)
1: There are a lot of 20+ people who act like "12-15" year olds. Of course, your view on how 12-15 year olds acts is based on your perspective, as not all 12-15 year olds act like that.
2: Violent videogames are not only not the only cause of childrens' failures in school, but are not the main reason either.
3: Not all children spend their parents' money on video games. And if they do, their parents should address the spending of their money.
4: Racism is an issue that I won't discuss in depth, but I will say that it is not necessary for people to use race as a tool for degradation.
5: Humans are a survivalistic race, and with survival comes violence. It is how we have come to dominate this earth. To say that we should not be violent is to say that we should not survive. There is always a winner and a loser, and with the conflict between the two comes violence. In summation: As proud as so many Americans are of their country, this country would not exist as it is if it was not stolen from Native Americans, and as bad as you might feel for Native Americans, they killed off cultures, human and animal, to establish their land. Violence, like all tools to solve conflict, is a necessity of life. -
What I know is that not all people are like us, cause if you grow up your kids the way you stated , your children will not fail because there is a guidance behind them.Same I did with my kids and now they are adults and has nothing to say about their behavior " I am very proud of that "VisionEyes3 wrote: »I disagree with you on a few points. Now are all parents the same ? you stated "Parents have allowed the raising of their kids to be delegated to schools and the media, so that they can work longer hours and make more money."yes it may be like this and this is not too bad ( but still bad ) worst are those who just do the same as you said but will also give to the kid the video game just to be free when they are at home , they don`t want to get annoyed by their own kids so they send them to annoy others ( like here on CF) and what they learn here ?I need answers .
There was a kid the other day begging for some ZP here on the forum" find this thread and read all the post if you can "
See how some of them are pointing their fingers to a COUNTRY stating that those people are less than **** and need to be flushed etc " I am talking here about the multiple threads about Brazil. so what is in your opinion will those kind of lecture bring to the kids that frequent the forum ? the forum does even more harm to them than the Bang Bang Bang in the game.
I would better stop here cause I may need hours to talk about those Issues. -

thats a very cool story brofreedomDMZ wrote: »Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,
I want to address this topic to the fact that I personally was observing during gameplay.
I want to say in the beginning that I play only few times a week, so I am not really active.
However, this is the following fact starts to become if not an issue, but a not very good thing for sure. (It is my personal opinion)
I see alot of players that are less than 16 years old. Not that there is anything wrong with it on the first place, BUT, there children cannot understand and respect other players in the room.
How do I know that they are young?
a) Manner of speaking
- Swear ALOT
- Get extremely offensive when told to be nice and respect others
- Extremely flammable - get ****ed off easily for nothing
- Calling everyone hacker who kills them
b) Name
- Name_1997
c) Making big deal out of nothing
Yet, there is a downside for young players playing
a) If they are 12-15 years old, then.... well, they kill people, and it has great impact on their mentality. No wonder alot of american kids are failing or hate school.
b) They spend their parents money to get stuff (12-15 years old buy weapons to kill others??)
Also, there are alot of racist comments coming out of them. I see alot of "asians noob", etc.
Young kids are making racist comments in game? This can definitely mean that they might do it in real life too. Besides, child grows up hating other nationality or certain ethnic group just because they are better gamers or play better than they?
The reason I am writing this is because it starts to become uncomfortable to play. If you tell kid to shut up, kid starts to swear, etc, which is really bad by itself. There are MANY MORE ways to entertain yourself, rather then letting 12-15 child to play bloody game and see him/her growing up with little knowledge about outside world, with hate towards other ethnic group, with simple desire for violence.
I believe players and crossfire should take more responsibility about uprising issue and perhaps do something about it.
The young generation is being raised in violence, hate and blood, which is not where the world should go, ( I m more talking about North American region, since in Europe and South America the situation is by far better, yet also addressing all the regions), so if you want the upcoming generation to be like that, leave it as it it, and if you DON'T want that to happen, please do something about it.
Thank you for reading. -
Thank you everyone who took time reading this and expressing their views upon the situation.
I live in Canada and in my community, most, not all, but most kids are ignorant towards others. Maybe because I live in "above average" community and people generally have more money and they can afford more things, but you know, if there are alot of similar cases, maybe we as humans need to rethink are we doing the right thing?
I never said every child between 12-15 is bad, and many of them who play the game are nice people, however, another part of the age group does not... behave as they should. (whatever the "should" is). But for 12 years old play such games is not the best aspect of growing up, and I agree it should be left to parents, however, if we have great numbers of children like that, and don't forget that the number will increase, since technology advances, more games invented, more money to spend on, then after 10-20 years we MIGHT have some problems in our society.
Anyways, thanks all to express your views upon the situation!
