My suggestions what this game really needs
1. Add more weapons and add on weapon details numbers so u can see sharp difference 
2.weather. yes this game have option to put it on, but all maps have same weather still.
3.put available all options in graphic settings. (i have grey 2 options in there, special effects and some else)
4.increase more resolutions. i using 1650x1050 what is pretty standard these days...
5.make maps more "alive" little details in there and here.
6.add sound when bullets drop from gun on floor/ground ^^
7. put maps like indonesia forest or some kind desert
8.put bonuses and new guns also higher ranks. (quite empty there now)
9.add rifles&smg only options in game create.
10.add more clothers to chars what u get only available higher ranks so ppl will try hunt that ransk more to get unique lookings.
11. add chars different face options. best to use is kind same on elders scroll oblivion kind :P
12. and make clan logo like this : use your own drawning. like paintbrush or something else for really unique logo :P
13. add game number on friend/clan details system. now is almost imposible to know which game fiend/clan member play

Prison Map(Snipers only is at night if that is what u're asking for)

get a good comp. All they maps have good detail. Your comp just can't handle it
well i have amd athlon dualcore 3.0ghz 2gt 800mhz ram geforce 8800GTS 512mb 16x pci-e
and i doubt u can say anymore nothing.

4 well as u know most people have wide screen monitor 22" + so graphics looks a little rough compare other free FPS mmo there

There are no shadows (maybe some static shadows) in CF, so that option is pointless (there are none in Japan and the option is also greyed out) and there is only one range of effects, making the other greyed out option also useless.

They never will, crossfire is an urban warfare game so we're never going to see large outdoor maps like forests or deserts.

Pointless. Though pistols are way better then SMG's so if you're sucky with pistols I can definitely see were you're coming from. Won't happen.
