Steyr-Aug C vs Scar Light

Hey all,
I got a scar light right now and do pretty well with it but.. it's boring and everyone who reaches that rank buys it so there's quite allot of them arround. So I was thinking of getting a steyr-Aug camo

(first need to get it but I'll suceed)

Any tips?

i think you should get a regular AUG before puting money into getting a AUG Camo, if you dont like the aug u wont feel as bad if u bought the aug c first.

thats not enough, because aug is a specialty gun, it might be pro on cross roads, but not pro on some s&D map.

This is an expensive gun...
If u want to try it before u buy crates u can try mine... but it really isn't too great.

as far as tips go (really short):
- shoot in 2-4 shot bursts
- don't spray
- only use scope at long range

You should try M4A1. Something different and better then Aug.
Aug camo is the same as regular aug but more amount of bullets

Scar Light is better IMO, but it depens on your playing Style.

Yes. Scar Light is definitely better because of less recoil. Aug camo does have a faster reload than Aug and it has +5 bullets but it isn't as good as the SL in short range

no ofence for sl users but i think that this gun is ruining this game.

ok the scar l is easier to use then the aug BUT the aug is a better gun then the scar it only takes a little longer to get used to (only go for hs with the aug)
proof look at the head shots i have(i dont know why it shows the awm because i used the aug the whole game)

the aug is a really nice gun, i started usin it on my alt a few days ago. the scope is only useful when shooting long range. and i mean long. mid range, you could box without scope, which is the mistake i have, i tend to overuse scope just because i know its there.

scar light is a good gun, but if you want the scar, just pick it up after you hs em with your aug

The AUG C is more of a show gun. It's got style and it's fun to use and requires skill to use, plus it looks very awesome. In game though it is also quite good for headshots, plus it has the 5 rounds extra and the much faster reload which is quite effective.

AUG-reg and AUG-camo aren't even in the same range.

Camo is beast, regular pretty much sucks for everything but mid.

You'll still get outgunned by serious M4/AK users, but then again, you will regardless of what gun you're using.

Go with the camo if you can get one.

Whilst there is no doubt that the AUG C will screw over a regular AUG 10 times over, it's still more of a trophy gun rather than a gun you will play seriously with, just like my SPAS12. It's good, but it's more of "HAIL ME NOOBS I HAVE CAMO AUG!!!!!"

The AUG poos all over the m4 when it comes to mid-long range. Close range...the m4 would maybe win, I'm not sure.

If you wanna get good scores right away and look like every other player in the game, get the scar l.

If you wanna spend time learning something, get even better scores once you have, and look unique doing it, get the AUG.

The m4 will win in close range usually... especially if you are reloading -.-
The SCAR LIGHT requires absolutely ZERO skill to use (thats what makes it so awesome!)
The AUG or AUG-C takes a lot of practice.

M4A1 will probably win in close range. It's evenly matched at medium range and long range the AUG will defecate all over the M4A1. The SCAR Light will win at short range and medium range though long range again the AUG will win. The AUG and AUG C are very good at medium to long range with their high accuracy and the scope obviously has it's bonuses. But yeah it takes a lot of practice with the low damage and long reload time. But a person who masters an AUG should be proud, just like someone who masters the AK47 or someone who masters the M60.
