File types problem

Okay so i renamed and saved 2 temp replay files after games where the ha.ck.ers crashed the room, and when i try and watch the replays they dont show up in my replay box. I have them saved as CFReplay(name).cfr but they are RTP type files not CFR files. How can i change the file type to a CFR? i changed the extension but it doesnt change the file type and apparently we cannot watch RTP files in the Replay Viewer.

try this :

if your using AVG (FTW)
1. click tools then advanced settings
2. go down the list on the left and look for "Resident Shield"
3. click "Directory Excludes" then "Add Path"
4. find your cf folder and click ok
5. click apply then ok and your all done

thats so you dont have to disable AVG to play then re-enable it after playing it

lol 0dude stop copying and pasting what i said to you lol

if you just saved this replay after the game ended by clicking the save button then renaming it and clicking ok (im sure your not that stupid to click cancel but a few people i no clicked cancel when they where saving replays XD)

dont close the game press ALT + TAB, if that doesnt minimize CF press CTRL+ALT+DEL (or go into the options in game and make it windowed mode)

go to

Start > My Documents > Crossfire > Replay (check the name of the saved replay to see if it saved if you cant find the name of the replay you saved look for the replay temp and rename it again to (what ever.cfr)

i know you said you did this for 2 files but its worth reading and making sure you did it right i suppose

there where more issues on this they are working on this problem so if this doesnt help you then sorry i cant help you anymore its up to the dev's to find the problem
