Pretty sure you wouldn't jump shot someone with an AK 47/M4A1 at a distance with one bullet. Just saying...

ps: I really hope, the military doesn't use CF. It would be so fail...

"YOU LAG IN AND WE WILL GO IN AFTER K?"
"DON'T WORRY I JUST DOWNLOADED VIPS"
"ITS OK I CAN RUN AND SNIPE AT THE SAME TIME WITH MY AWM"
"OH NICE I JUST TANKED THAT NADE"
"DON'T WORRY GUYS MY XM8 DOES 100% WALL DAMAGE, HIS AK 47 ONLY DOES 30%"

    And... more...

imho, I prefer a more effective approach. Listen to us, or we will carpet bomb your entire country.

    no reg . lol

    made my day completely

can we get someone on animating this?
  • Interesting..so u want to say aim for the head? (Am not sure though)
  • That was a lot of work to show for dividing kills by headshots.

    K/DR and
K/HR are the two stats you look at when you're checking profile.
  • I've had this for a while, since I was new at FPS games. This was when I pubbed half of my time on CF. I just wanted to post this for people to correct. Even though most of its wrong.
  • Too tired to read this arghhh im going to bed peashe
  • How did this turn into a flame thread? And HOW ON EARTH DOES ONE TAKE ANYTHING FROM CROSSFIRE AND COMPARE IT TO REAL LIFE?

    Simply mind boggling.

As a side note, I used to really be into WWII and more modern warfare. You don't aim for the head in real life unless it is the only visible target. So any point that pro armed forces person said is irrelevant. Prone offers the most stability, smallest target and lowest visual... not crouching. You still burst long range as you need to see your tracers to tell how far off you are aiming.

And as a final note, the majority of America's soldiers are under trained and tend to be from poor and uneducated places. Unless you tell me you are of an elite unite that aren't just grunts, you're even worse for acting like you are something special.

By the way, the majority of your fights, that don't involve trying to hold towns and cities under control, are won with superior technology and firepower.

Don't take this as disrespect, it is simple truth.
  • If a 200 pinger jumps off a bridge while having a missile launched at them (assume it will hit them as they fall) do they take damage?
  • In real life I would run away in a battle instead of aiming for the head with my waterpistol,

But it appears CF isn't real life, ;)

    Easy game physics question.

Since it's CF so it depends on the shooter's ping.

Assuming the launcher's ping is X

    Damage taken = [ (50-X) × 2% ] × Missile max damage.
As long as 50-X is positive.

    And if you are wondering
    2% is CF's magical percentage.

Meaning if you shot a guy mid-air there is 2% chance of him getting hurt and 98% you are screwed.

Damn i was just coding for 3 hours non-break, dunno if it's the screen that rotating or my head spinning.
  • about 70% of all my kills are headshots. beat that :)

hahaha i bet they are all axe headshot from knifing matches XDDDD

I get a lot of headshots. This will be a long post, but it is to your benefit to read it all. If you don't it's your loss because I know a lot of people will appreciate this.

Case in point: Streak has double my kills, but only 3000 more headshots. Let's do some rounding and basic math. Let's round Streak's kills to 44k, his headshots to 13k, my kills to 22k and my headshots to 10k. These numbers are pretty close to being accurate, only off by a few hundred, and all rounded numbers are larger than their actual counterpart. All numbers are rounded up to the nearest thousand.

ALL NUMBERS FROM HERE FORTH ARE AVERAGES

So, let's cut off the thousands because they're redundant for this part and percentages cannot be above 100 unless you're talking about exponential and factorial expansion, etc.

    13 is X percent of 44.

    13/44=X/100

    Cross multiply, you get 44X = 1300

    X=(1300/44)

X=29.54545454..... Rounded to 30. 30% of all Streak's kills are headshots. One out of every three kills.ON AVERAGE

    Same procedure for me:

    10/22=X/100

    22X=1000

    X=(1000/22)

X= 45.454545454...... Rounded to 45. If I really wanted to nitpick I could round it to 46%, but 45 is a nice round number so let's keep it there. 45% I repeat. 45 ****ing percent of ALL my kills are headshots. Almost half. That's INSANELY high. Think about it. Your chances of being headshotted by me are pretty much one in two. Flip a coin.

I've been accused of aimbotting too many times to count. It's understandable though, with just under half of my kills coming from headshots. A couple nights ago, a few members saw first hand exactly HOW I get all these headshots. So I figured I'd give everyone a quick rundown. These are tips only. Not every person will be able to do these things perfectly right away because they require a slight alteration to your play style.

First: Take your M16 and break it. Fully. Then do matches. You will learn VERY quickly that the only way to kill someone efficiently with that gun is to get a headshot. It teaches you really fast how to get that headshot in only one or two presses of your mouse. Then take what you've learned by using your M16 and just do it with your normal weapon.

Second: At short to medium ranges, and this is VERY subject to change, but still important, is to KNOW YOUR WEAPON. Every M4 sprays up and to the right. Every single one. Learn to use that knowledge. If you're going to spray someone, then learn to aim a little down and left before you start, so that your gun naturally takes you to their head. SCAR Lights pretty much go straight up. So aim at their waist or stomach, because if you aim at their head and that first shot misses, you're ****ed.

Third: At medium-long to VERY long ranges, take one shot at a time. ONE. Not two. Just one. If both parties have automatic weapons, and they just spray away and you take an extra half second to aim and fire one shot, you'll get the kill about 70% of the time. Also, crouch. It makes your aim better, and at these kinds of distances the kills will be decided more by who has better aim and less by moving around. At AWM range, there's little reason to weave around, because even though they'll have a harder time hitting you, you will also have a ridiculously hard time hitting them. Yavin experienced this with me himself. He had an AWM and I had my standard M4, yet I was able to kill him just as often as he killed me. AT AWM RANGE. I absolutely HAD to get a headshot to kill him. He switched to his SCAR Light and it was the same deal. I explained what I'm explaining here to him and he started to try it, and saw instant approvement. Your first shot of any spray will hit dead on where you aim it, every time. So why spray a few shots? Aim, shoot once. If you miss, aim again, shoot once. By only shooting one bullet at a time, your aim is barely screwed up. And I know this tip seems blatantly obvious, but just try it.

Fourth: While moving, learn to keep your crosshairs at head height. This is pure practice, but once you get it, you can be moving and pop off one bullet and get a headshot, because like I said above, your first shot is dead on every time.

Finally, number Five: Lead your shots. If you're stationary and waiting for someone to go across the map, put your crosshairs at head height about an half an inch ahead of them on your screen and wait until they cross it. Boom. Headshot. This takes a little timing work since shots aren't quite instant, but its worth it.

That's really all I've got. This is the legitimate man's aimbot. So try it sometime, and practice it. And if I pull off some ridiculous headshot against you in a match, its probably because I know what I'm doing.

Most games i play in i get 25-75% headshots with my KDR in game

    M4a1-Xm8-TAR21 HS MASTER GUNS!

don't forget about the noobish m12s or the scar light....turns noobs into bigger newbs
  • Guns are for puss1es.
I'd go to Iraq with knuckle dusters and still win.
