Patch Notes 08-06-2009

This update mostly focuses on bringing more GP content to the game with the addition of new maps, weapons, and GP Crates. Please report any problems in the Technical Support forum.
With this update we have added 3 new GP only crates to the Black Market Crates system and also 2 new SP crates with even more great stuff to get. Some of the top prizes you can win are listed in the patch notes and all SP crates still have a chance to win 1,000,000 GP! You will also win coupons even in GP crates that can later be exchanged for great weapons so good luck to all.
Here is a full list of all major new updates to the game;

• New Map "Metro GM"
• New Map "DesertStorm S&D"
• New Weapons: QBZ-95, Glock-18, Field Shovel
• New Weapon: AK-47 Scope (Crates)
• New Weapon: Kriss Super V (Crates)
• New Weapon: Anaconda-Adv (Crates)
• New Weapon: AUG-Camo (Crates)
• New Weapon: Desert Eagle-Camo (Crates)
• New Items: 5 New EXP+ Sports Caps/Helmets
• New Items: 6 New Extra Clip Magazines, one for each gun type
• New Items: Breath Noise Down Item for GM
• New Items: Blue Muzzle Flame and 2 New Name Cards
• Various other game updates, fixes, additions, and improvements.
Note: You can only wear one of the new extra ammo clip magazines at a time so please make your choice wisely depending on what you will use that match.

I would like to see something to counter the breath dampening. This seems like a huge advantage for ghosts, providing they can bunnyhop. I'd like to either see this be taken away, or and item that over-rides the breath reduction. To be honest, I'd also like to see armor piercing bullets for body armor and helmets.

this is not to much of a big advantage to ghosts besides if there are hackers in a game that are only using chams and as everyone knows chams only lets you see a ghost thats moving not a non moving ghost but usless to full bright hackers but most people out there cant bunny hop so this helps them
also there is a bug with the sound reduction it doesnt always work i know a few people with it and most of the time i can hear them perfectly like they dont evan have it but sometimes i cant hear them so good because its working properly XD
and yes it does seem quite unfair for people who can bunny hop and have this item especialy how when people bunny breathing takes some time to catch up to them making them get really close with no breathing at all.
the best solution for this is to patch bunny hopping...... which would make it alot harder for ghosts
another way would be to remove the sound reduction but make all breathin quieter but not as quiet as the sound reduction -
This is a big advantage for camping ghosts, but when I watch korean version crossfire, the ghosts forward bunny hop invisibly, and their is no point in getting it, as the ghost moves so fast, that before you even hear his/her breath, you will be getting knifed at. I tried the bunny hop in this game, with little success. I did it 2 or 3 times, but the timing is so different from standing up bunny hopping.

I would like to see the UK/EU server in the next patch, European skilled players are leaving the game because of the high ping, and the Z8 don't see that...
GM's give so much attention to only one side of the community that forgets the other side, you should give more attention to the competitive one. The Europeans are tired of Cross Fire because of the high pings, so I advise you to get fast with the European server or the competitive European community will leave this game very fast.
Anyways, I think you should add Desert/Dust2 fast, the old CS/CS:S players would be very happy and it can even bring more players from CS to CF. -

I'm agree with you ! We need Eu/UK servers fast and the de_dust2 map ;x and a new anti-hack also -
in chinesse crossfire is a map exactly like dust2
