It's true that azns have it rough, but a lot of other "minority" cultures are the same. I think it's just the idea that you're a cultural underdog in North America and you need to work harder than other people to get just as far.
I'm latino and grew up with a single mom that was huge with education. We're talkin bout half an hour of TV a day and physical toys rather than a computer. Didn't get a computer till I was like 12/13, and that was still mostly for school. Only game on it was chess titans...
Most of my "smarter" friends had similar/identical situations, regardless of race.
And when we do something wrong, latino children get beat a lot harder than azns... -
