I normally build my own computer, but just knowing what all the parts are and what they do and cost individually is a great help to you to know what you're buying and what its capabilities are. I recently bought a new computer, I left my house one morning to buy parts and put one together, and I ended up buying a pre-built ASUS machine at Bestbuy... and it was cheaper than what I could build it for (i7 processor, 9GB DDR3 ram, TB HD, Nvidia GTX280, put my personal copy of Win 7 pro on it) and got a slick deal on a 30' flat screen... So just knowing what youre buying can be a big help.

Brush back those eyebrows and read the whole thread.

He'd stated what he wanted for CrossFire, I stated my current set-up, and then what he'd expect as his result, using low setting and 800x600 res.

I highly doubt he would pull 120 fps out of that rig even on 640x400.

I literally fell off my chair.

He can buy a pre-built and still run Crossfire with more then enough FPS for good gameplay.

True. Even though mine was free it cost a grand and is trash.

I live in kentucky and I want a good computer around 1000 or under
