In game Foul Language

I sent in a report of the incident, but I want to know do they actually ban players that have used extreme foul language?
I won't go into details on what was said, but suffice it to say had it been said to my face and not in a game a hospital and years of physical therapy would have been in the offenders future.

  • Yes, extreme bad language is a bannable offense.
  • hmmm.... i dont care about language, if u met me in real life or were within 10 feet of me in public chances are i offended you...
BUT... i dont like it when people who dont know me, (ie... people in online games) threaten me... I know it is just some 10 year old kid on the other end... but when i see "im gona kill you and your family you ???ing piece of ???t"
which i have gotten something along that lines on 2 occasions... As well as the 12 year olds "ultimate" insult... "your Ga?" im gona get you you f??"
I GET ****ED AS HELL.... if you know me in real life... call me what you want... if your only interaction with me is 1 match in a video game,,, keep your insults game related other wise stfu...
I think it is mainly cause i am from the old school. Back when you get owned by a legit player you say NS! and gg after every match.
whatever,,, i got a folder full of screens for verbal abuse that i will never send in, cause after i cooled down, i dont care.
  • Delaco beat me to it.

First, I couldn't care about language, either, but since some people get offended, and because this /is/ a "T" rated game (*sigh*)...

They'd likely get a warning the first time, unless it was excessive. Then it'd be a temp-ban, or a be a temp-ban on second offense...After that, the gloves are off!

I'd also suggest to everyone here...If the language bothers you, either simply ignore them (Generally a good idea if you're busy gunning, /anyway/) or block them completely. I mean...Reporting is good, I guess, but /I'd/ rather let the GMs deal with hack reports than language reports, myself.

But I'm just a player, not a person in any position of authority, so take that with a grain of salt and a slice of lime. ;)
  • I cleaned this up some. As Delaco said, such actions can lead to temp bans when reported. depending on how harsh the offense the time can change. You can do so here. http://support.z8games.com/webform.aspx
Make sure to include screen shots.

Thanks, ya I sent it in yesterday but it's still open. I'll be patient about the report. I don't usually care about what is said in-game but this was too much especially if it was a child saying it. (no clue on his/her age)

Heh! Liklihood is, indeed, it being a kid. As I once mentioned to one punk, it's almost always the kids that try sooooo hard to anger someone via spewing curse word after curse word. The older/more mature folks only tend to use a few where it would kinda make sense for curse words to even be.

Not to mention we also prefer to spend our time annoying someone by acting "Holier than thou," not by dribbling crap from our mouths/fingers. ;)
