CSN: Addressing the Issues
Anti-Cheat
There were some issues with the A/C we are working on, we do apologize for all inconvenience caused.
In order to fully test the capacity of the A/C, we will be organizing a mass log-on when it is ready. More information should come soon.
Another issue we had was players spamming the chat section of the A/C. Until we can provide a better means of controlling this, anyone caught spamming the A/C will be banned from CSN.
Match Scheduling
Many players were under the impression that you can avoid the scheduling process all together, and just play on default time. This is NOT how it works. Each team MUST confirm a time. This means that if you wish to play default times, you must go into the match comms and select default time as the time played. We still encourage trying to get a good time with the other team though.
Another issue was players assuming that you could put up multiple time for consideration in the match comms. This is not the case. Actual discussion with the other team needs to take place either through PMs, over xFire, or through another medium. It is your responsibility to get in touch with the opponent and figure out a time that works for both of you.
Casting
A lack of communication with the people casting was the issue here, however we're very glad they did what they could with the limited space.
A bigger issue though was communication with the teams. If your team has any interest in being casted, or is asked to be casted, remember to a) Confirm the decision and time with your team 100% before giving us an answer, and b) not change the time of the game multiple times. Due to the issue we had, if you're being casted and a match time is set through discussion, no changes will occur afterward, as if you had done a normal scheduling through match comms. You need to be 100% certain.
A remedy for the current situation is being discussed. Another announcement will be made by tonight. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them or xFire me @ colossalkoala
Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Results of the incident will be relayed in future announcements.
so what happens to c2... our team (dbd) showed up, took a screenshot of us being on time at default time, while NONE of c2 members were online. they didnt confirm the default time on "my events" page, but on their team page on csn, they said they accept monday 8:30
do we win by default? if so where do we post the screenshots -

Just wanted to input some things here, the first is I truely don't understand why both teams have to "confirm" the default time, that is what it should be, default time if neither teams confirm, if you really want to make both teams to confirm the times, make any offer automatically accepted within 24-30 hours of the posting if the other team does not accept or decline it.
Also xfire and pms, should NOT be used. A match comms just like ones on esea should be done for all posting of times, nothing else. -
