the most important reasons why there is fuzz on a tennisball is:
a. you can apply a certain amount of spin to ball , which would be impossible without the fuzz
b. it ensures a clean bounce off the court which provides more control. the game would be way to fast if the ball was nekkid

After reading this, I look at tennis totally different than I did before. (In a good way.)ok i ll keep it *******

good thing you bring up squash. in squash of course there i less ground to cover, also the ball
is a lot "softer" which results in a lower bounce and decreased speed after the ball left the ground. it is still a very fast game of course! not as fast as speedminton, which i also enjoy now and then. decent speedminton players can produce ballspeeds of 250 km/h -
