so... i was looking through the clan marks, and i noticed a black fist.... now seeing this black fist, made me refer back to something... can anyone think of it? thats right, it means black power.... where is the white fist? its racist if it dosent have both.?

Showing a sign of united pride for a group of people is not a new ideal to this world.

Neither is pumping your first in the air in support of this. (see the band Rage Against the Machine for a prime example of a media outlet using this symbolism to sell their product)

This is where the original symbol started from in the 60's and 70's when referring to "Black Power". In some cases this was taken to negative extremes. In others it was used as support to combat racism and oppression.

This clan symbol is used in our game in a generic form. While it bears a striking resemblance to some of these other symbols, z8games does not take any political stance in regards to any deeper meaning of this symbol. However we understand the sensative nature of this image and we will look for a solution that makes everyone happy.

This symbol as a clan mark is in all versions of CF. And has thus far not offended anyone. With over 170 different marks and over 2 million possible permutations of clan symbols, some things obviously might have been overlooked.


This will be our final statement on the matter and this thread will be closed. We will look at the situation and take the appropriate action in the future.
