The difference being the U.S. Army is supposed to be a professional, highly-trained, ethical and "liberating" army. Not a handful of forced conscripts who get a rifle thrust into their hands.

Peacekeeping me arse. Ive had friends die over there. Its hard not to get twisted over there. Back when all this started, One of my friend who has actually made it home alive, was not allowed to come home for almost 2.5 years. No leaves, no breaks, WAR WAR WAR. Its took him a while to readjust to normal life, and hes told me things I wouldnt want to repeat if i had to.

Friends parents who were in the Vietnam war are the same way, the things they did, were told to do, ALOT of it was horrible. ALOT of those people are fked up today because of it, you wonder why so many american soldiers come home and kill themselves? because they are told to do incomprehensible evils.

If they had done the same things back here they are Felons and murderers, but since it was NOT on home country in a war time its ok, and alot of them cant live knowing they are basicly criminals

this is no offence to ANY soldiers of any kind, this is my take on knowing MANY vietnam/desertstorm/operation freedom vets and talking to them and living with some.
