(Help) Startup Black screen?

Alright so I am running CF I run the client as Admin and I click start game the little crossfire gameguard thing pops up and I wait. After it is done loading the little screen pops up but but it stays black for ever. The game works fine on my laptop but not my desktop... I run vista sp 2 32 bit 2gb ram processor Inter(R) Core9TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz 2.13GHZ
Any fixes? I went to properties on client then I checked the compability thing and run as XP SP 2

The game worked fine yesterday morning for a hour or 2 I exited to get some other stuff done when I came back to try it I started happening like this.

Yes please tell me what is going on. I have the same problem except all I have is a desktop. I uninstalled it and now the black box won't even pop up. I click start game and then nothing. Have to restart computer after every attempt. Vista home basic, intel celeron, 2.0 GHz. Run as admin. and nothing.
