How come I still can't play?

I've retired from crossfire about 2-3 months ago because of the new patch errors. Like when you start the game and the HGWC thing just stops at some percentage and the file error things pop out, thus making you unable to go into the game. Now, 2-3 months later as in today, I've tried to redownload again to play, but the same thing still happens. What the heck? Nothing like this happens until the patch 2-3 months ago.. What's wrong!??!?!?! I want to headshot somebody!
