The new Resident Evil movie looks pretty stupid, just a cash in gimmick on 3-D.
I love the games (and the first movie wasn't too bad) but it stopped being about the zombies and started being a sub par action movie with psychic powers randomly thrown into the mix.
Movies that look "silly"
I would probably say L4D, it's impossible as we've seen to make a good video game movie. -

Afterlife is alright. Reason why I'm watching it is due to watching the past Resident Evil movies :P
As for l4d, hopefully they follow the game for the movie, but so far it looks fake?
Oh well, can not wait until Mortal Kombat comes out! Anyone see that sweet 8 min trailer? i was drooling lol. -
I want to see Devil aswell. Even if it is as random as taking place in an elevator.
But...but M. Night Shyamalan directed it! and the last 2 movies he made were terrible lol. Hopefully M. Night Shyamalan realized his mistakes and created this movie to redeem himself!

Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows

I will be manly enough to second this.
Of course it's mostly because I've seen the other ones at some point, and even if a series happens to be bad I can't just watch a good deal of it and not finish it.
I'm not kept up at night in anticipation of it's release, but I would definitely watch it soon after. -
Well, hehe, if you paid me the cinema ticket and the popcorn I would choose Case 39.
Looks like a decent movie with a good story, but that's just my opinion.

Also and btw. Have you saw the movie "Contraluz"? It's a portuguese movie made in NA field, has a great story overall.
