Widescreen question?

Does having the game in widescreen also increese the hit box sizes?

The widescreen mode in CF is really just the normal ration stretched! am i right on that? SO does widescreen also stretch the hit boxes? iv been noticing a lot of hits not registering lately.. could this be the reason as i did think its lag..

I'm pretty sure hit boxes remain the same. If you had an apple on a 800x600 screen and one on a 1440x900 screen the only difference is the resolution of the apple, it just gets bigger.

if youve played in wide screen you'd realized it gets wider... not bigger... thats whats he's asking

Yes, widescreen is just stretch mode i.e. it get wider.. so do the hit boxes stretch?

I don't think so. Widescreen allows you to see more area than square resolutions. It doesn't stretch images on your screen. They remain the same, only the amount of area that is visible changes.

The apple is not stretched, just enlarged.

yes it will if the original screen ratio is not respected.
example : if you stretch the original to wider screen the hit box will be larger " look like fatty burger eater " .The contrary will have a thin and tall hit box .
