  • Yeah.

Its time to raise some other issues though, like which version of Black Widow they'll be playing, and how the client that will be played on in China differs from ours.

Not really fair to practice on a platform if it differs greatly from the one you'll be playing live on.
Different spraypatterns and such, getting the spamspots down (if legit), as they run a different BW version as far as I know (our old one).
  • teach me to play LoL, i'm better now i promise!

Don't they get time to play the game for a bit when they get there?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they give you some practice rounds. If they don't the winning team (won't say which because starts arguments) can go to some random Internet cafe in town and play there.
  • fallout readd me in lol i think i deleted you

so far the itinerary we've hear is that there will be 2 days of bootcamp practice, and 2 days of tournament play.

2 days is not alot of time to pick out the subtleties between our version and the version to be played.
  • d00p we never played starcraft together

whenever i saw you on you were mainly campaigning, do you ever play online?

  • Proxy and download the Korean and CN versions to peek at the maps, then use the early practice to whip together effective strats for it?

Practice rounds/days/hours will mean utter ****, their playing against HIGHLY skilled players, that have been playing on that platform of the game for a very long time.

I do not doubt LPK's skill, or game sense, but they have a major disadvantage going over there.
  • I wonder how long these stupid threads are going to go on for. I'll give it at least another month. I'd just lock everyone that included hating/trolling if I was a mod. People would get so mad over not being able to troll/hate. lol.

2 players won't make stop a team winning a round, for a team that's been playing this game for like 2-4 months now gets a thumbs up, they're obviously better/smarter players, can't imagine if they had the same experience as lifeline does with this game, it's simple, lifeline got out played, they both did sneaky moves, LL with UK and LPK with castle, it was fair game, it was simple, LPK just wanted it more.

and who are you to judge? LPK beat CNS that roflstomped you, they beat every team that had a chance of going to china, by that I believe they truly deserve it... too bad you didn't make it to the finals.

im just saying that , finals should be enjoynable to watch and it wasnt at all , i think the finals were planned to fast , would be better to see main lineup vs main lineup and enough time to train ALL maps , , and that seals gaming lost vs cns thats normal when it is summer holidays im supprised we get that far without training 1 map .
  • ohh exciting and i have no idea wots going on
    lol

so it is LPK's fault malte was on vacation... Malte had been on vacation for quite some time now, I am pretty sure he missed almost all of playoffs and some of the regular season. LifeLine did play with their starters (malte was gone half the season).

The shoutcasters kept talking about the UK server for castle, when in reality LifeLine choose to play in echo 8.
LL choose UK server for blackwidow and played with malte
LPK choose Echo server and LL subbed someone for malte (HE COULD OF PLAYED)
LL choose Echo for their half of tiebreaker (Malte could of played)
LPK choose Echo for their half of tiebreaker (Once again malte could of played)

Malte's lan center closed at 2 am blah blah blah... It is LPK's fault they closed the lan center at 2 am.

LifeLine had Mon-Thurs to train on castle, and blackwidow. LPK announced Santoria Wednesday night at ~10 EST (This was after LL announced their pick at ~9EST).

    Thurs
Fri (LPK changed their pick to Ceyhan from Santoria)
    Saturday
    Sunday 6 EST Match

I'm sick of people saying LifeLine practiced all week on Santoria. The most they could of practiced was 2 days (Thurs and Friday). Meanwhile, they didn't announced their choice of map until Wednesday. This means they practiced BlackWidow and Castle all week (Monday-Wednesday Night, and then Thurs-Sunday while including Santoria/Ceyhan), before we even knew what the first map would be.

We (LPK) were extremely busy during the finals week. We got maybe ~5-6 scrims of practice the whole week. 2-3 versus lower skilled teams and 2-3 versus pugs. We played blackwidow 2 times (Versus devious and Sensasian). We played Ceyhan 2 times ( 2 pugs) and we played castle twice (Versus Sensasian and a yaBlow Pug).

LifeLine was ****y enough to not practice the Tiebreaker map and that is their own problem.

When we play them in Season 2 of WOGL we will beat them again for the third time. Stop talking us down, we played both WOGL-O and WOGL-P. We won both of them without losing a match. Not to shabby for a team that started playing together at the end of June. I think we have done enough in our 2 month history to prove we belong at the top.
