Guide: Using a Gun and Aiming
Hello Everyone.
This is a guide to teach you how to aim with different guns. This is my first guide so be nice
Generally if you can't be bothered to read all that text down there, here are three words that can help you in killing:
Shoot the head.
Note: The gun stats might not be accurate. Things like range, lag, ping and armor could affect it.
AK47
One of the guns that I use is the AK47, I'm pretty sure almost anyone who have played crossfire have tried out AK47.
Probably alot of people already knows how to aim with it. But still, it's going into this guide, just don't complain.
Stats
Damage:
Head:100 Chest:35 Stomach:40 Legs:25
Ammo:
30/90
Shots to kill:
3-4
Cost:
43,000 GP
Using it in long range:
One shotting with it is VERY accurate, if your good at one shotting and aiming for the head the AK47 would be your gun
If your not really good at one-shotting, you can always shoot in short shot bursts of 3-5 bullets. Aim a bit lower than the head~ around the body, and shoot.
When shooting don't stay in a spot, someone slightly good at shooting can easily kill you. I recommend you to crouch down/shift walk, left and right (strafing).
Note 2: Using the crosshair with a circle and a dot would be recommended, because the dot in the middle shows where the first bullet will go.
Using it in mid-range:
You probably still would want to aim for the head, you can one-shot if your good but generally you would want to shoot in short shot bursts.
You could also double tap; bascially you just double click (don't 2xOne shot though) then pause for a second then you double click again, pause for a second etc.
You only just need 3 to 4 hits to the chest would probably be enough to kill someone, so DON'T spray.
Using it in close-range:
You wouldn't want to one shot in close-range. Use bursts, a few hits would be able to kill someone, spraying is probably not the best option, but yeah you can spray if you want.
Though pros using SMGs can easily kill you, so aim/shoot for the head (yeah it's "aim for the head" again).
If your panicking and do not know what to do, keep spraying, who knows you might get lucky
Tanking range? o.O
If an enemy is right in front of you/tanking, crouch down and spray. Or maybe if your tanking you can do the same. ;D
Pros: Good damage, nice accuracy
Cons: Recoil
The AK47 is not an easy gun to use, you probably need to use it for a while to get used to it.
But it is a good gun with a good damage, so don't quit using it after one game which you failed.
M4A1
Another gun that many people used is the M4A1. It's known for it's accuracy and low recoil and a well balanced gun. It takes
Yet again, many other people might have made a guide on this so this guide might not be the best.

Using it in long range:
Pretty obvious, you one shot in long range, keep strafing when you do it to avoid getting hit. You can use a low mouse sensitivity for more control when aiming.
Using it in mid-range:
Bursting would be good, something like 4-5 shots, before the bullets starts going left/right.
Knowing the spray pattern is quite important. For the M4A1, the spray usually goes in a "T" shape.
Using it in close-range:
Your best shot is to do a short burst right under the head and that'll get you a headshot.
You can also do a good spray - aim for the body and spray. If you think your shots aren't really hitting (if you don't see blood), go back to bursting (if your still alive).
Move about to try avoiding getting hit. But if your in a map like Egypt, where there isn't much to move, and you're spraying, crouch down then spray.
If your using a M4A1-Silver, don't spray!!! The rate of fire of the M4A1-Silver is lower than the normal one (but it has a longer ammo duration).
Pros: Accuracy, Low Recoil
Cons: Dunno, it doesn't really have something bad
