Vote For The Ban List Back.

Vote For The Ban List Back.
When I first started playing cf as well as some of you, when a player was reported we were given the convenience of knowing, What game he/she was banned from, Why was he banned, and The offence he/she was guilty of.
Now Since the banlist has been removed I can't help but feel sort of an uncomfortable nausea...Wondering Whom I reported is still running a muck or not.
What I am trying to ask of you all is to vote:
Yes a vote should be put to reinstate the ban list.
No Leave It Gone.
Simply Post the words Green or Red. Trying to keep this thread as flame free as possible.
Thank You For Taking the Time To Read and Possibly Vote
Thread built off the bases of the Common Courtesy Guide.

1. Yous hould have posted red. wait you cant read.
2. There's a thing called hope, that brings victory.
3. Quit postin shiz and stop agreeing with ur friend's suggestion only.
Hope in this case is rather futile, as its been clearly explained why it won't return.
I can hardly be to blame for my friends being decent and posting intelligent suggestions.
Furthermore, petitions are against the rules, but in the interest of my amusement I'll see what happens.
And wut! I haven't been on probation in months.
(PS: You can check if the player got banned, or at least get a decent idea, by checking his/hers last play date). -

All I have to say that sounded awfully communist. But I do respect you that you've left the thread open regardless of your beliefs.
Also the play date is not as nearly as effective as a ban list ty very much. -

Oops, I'm thinking DdotT SAWWY. Lol I didn't see the name right when I read it. -

Not that it matters much, my view of following rules is shared by other mods, and its our assignment to enforce them, be it a 'senior' mod or a new one.Oops, I'm thinking DdotT SAWWY. Lol I didn't see the name right when I read it.
As far as probation goes, its just a month or so to become acclimatized - they don't have to 'kiss up' to anyone. They're already mods.
Sad that you people single them out though.aPimpNameKirby wrote: »All I have to say that sounded awfully communist. But I do respect you that you've left the thread open regardless of your beliefs.

I didn't make the rules. How you interpreted that as communist is quite the mystery.
Play date and ban list doesn't pose much difference - one tells you that the person haven't played, the other does the same thing but with a generic reason as to why - which wasn't necessarily accurate, which in part is why it was removed.
Z8 does not have time generating a ban list to accuracy, nor is it something the public actually needs to know. The people who cares are the person banned (and the subject banned still gets to know why) and random kids on the forum starting flamethreads. -

Also the list is much more effective & community oriented
Hm...I dont think its more effective...but w.e
If they put a sign saying the person is banned in their player profile in the Z8 website, you can just look for him and check if he/she is banned.

Yes but they are still singled out by you by being put on probation. Not that it matters, it still happens. Also, its the time they need to prove themselves that they can do what they were picked to do. I'm just saying that in recent additions they seem to try a bit too hard. -

Supposedly cause no other game has it and they didn't want everyone to keep QQ'ing that their hekker wasn't banned yet because in reality they probably didn't hack. -

Lol dont change your words, you've made it clear.. It's okay for another mod to make a decision and do something, but when ddott does the exact same thing its power abuse right? So now I know what all the drama we had on the forums last week is all about. "Ddott is power abuse".
If you have more to say, just PM me or we can discuss on irc.
OT: If we had the ban list, people would be complaining even more thinking the person they reported is not banned. Also, if someone was banned for hacking, there is no need for it to be made public.
