Money talks eh? I don't always find that the case. Plenty of companies and others take care into keeping their rules, and community in good shape at any cost. Because it gives them good reputation and attracts more customers, meaning more money.
Take McDonald's for example, they took many beatings upon their franchise of suing and problems from users that were unhappy (whether it be false or true) and made sure such things were rectified to maintain their business reputation. Yes, it cost them money, and they love money. Thats why they did it. To keep customers coming back with the message 'we care'.
I have never known a business that didn't bleed first, and become one of two results.

I'm hoping that this is only the bleeding stage, and not the dead aspect where integrity is pointless and it turns into a dog-eat-dog scenario.
well unlike Mcdonalds The ones that work on this game do what they have to do to the game not what we would like them to do it works they make money and they work on the next patch woo some cf players happy "we got new gun's and maps woot!' thats that on to next project cause cf most likely not there only game they work on -
I was looking through CF's Terms & Conditions after seeing the foundation of the game slightly falling apart, and I think its mainly because alot of the simple but notable rules aren't being enforced or clarified. Below is sections that are to point to my case and hopefully some will see such. I'm expecting the TL;DR comments, but these notes are also on CF's main page. Its here for the lazy ones.
[1.1.3]Responsibility of Actions
All actions taken on an account are the responsibility of its owner. This includes but is not limited to, hacking, acting in an excessively negative nature and abusing bugs. Accounts may have action taken against them no matter who was on the account at any given time. If an account was lost due to a scam and subsequently broke the Terms and Conditions, Z8Games takes no responsibility for the actions performed while the account was lost.
The ones highlighted in bold and underline seem to be the main issues of CF at this time. Hacking and bugs causing quite disruptive moods and generally putting the community in a negative form. Noted, such things are worked on to be fixed and dealt with.
[3.0] Character Naming Conventions
Character names are the only way of referencing a player in the game environment. These names may be meaningful and attractive, however they may not portray content that is considered pedophiliac, racial/ethnic, sexual, violent, national sexual orientation and Obscene/Vulgar. Thus, great care should be given to name selection. The first impression other players have of you will be based on your character's name, so it's best to start off on the right foot. While choosing the perfect name for your character is left to your discretion, we have determined that some types of names are not allowed in this game.
Now, for the one noted here. I'm all for one with patriotism, however do please clarify that hundreds of accounts with BR attached is not a racial/ethnic content? Not saying its only the BR's, but how many accounts do you see with a USA tag or CAN tag or whatnot? Note whether or not this is against the rules, and if it isn't, clarify it.
[6.0] Harassment
Harassment is often an issue at any situation, which causes insecurity, lack of interest in the game environment and during some situations may pose a threat. Harassment may include calling inappropriate names, producing offensive or negative remarks which may be directed to a single player or a group of players, passing rumors or any message in the chat window that is considered offensive in accordance with the same Policy.
Thus, harassment of any kind regardless of the degree of harassment is not tolerated under any circumstances. These matters are compiled into a serious consideration since the security and the interest of other players are highly important to the nature of our business. Treat each and every player the way you would like to be treated.
Two big ones here. The current situation of the CF in-gaming community is quite terrible. Many players have displayed their distaste and as noted above 'lack of interest in the game environment' due to the wave of problems and racial attacks on both ends, generally leaving the minority which was intended for this version of CF to suffer from these griefers without any defense back. Secondly is the names and inappropriate or offensive content. Where is Z8's policy on foreign speakers bashing others? Do they automatically get circumvented from this rule because they don't speak English? We all know that this is also part of grieving as their words are intent on harm, and in their language do they control the game without others knowing what they are saying. Generally leading to constant kicking and so on.
So I am curious how people shall respond to this and more importantly how the rules are meant to be enforced. Even if it involves me doing screenshots every bloody game. I'll do it to clean up this game one play at a time. We shouldn't suffer, this should be an equal environment. But its not, not the way things are going currently. I could add more and dig deeper but I'll see how far this goes.

Tickets are a problem with this extremely understaffed game. However, patience is a virtue. Depending on the issue some of us forumers may be able to help, otherwise its a waiting game. Most companies generally have long response times and thats with larger staff. CF itself, isn't a bad game. Just whats inhabiting it lately. -

yea but still 2 weeks is a while lol..... its not a big issue all it is is im asking them to change my password that i forgot. ive given screenies transactions security awnsers.... its just ughh... but i do agree this game will go to sh1t if its soon not fixed.especially the hacks and the glitches. its getting there now. -

Hrm, isn't there a password recovery that gets sent to your email? I've never lost my pass so I wouldn't know, but most places have a 'forgot pass/id' button and such on site.
Regardless, just be patient, recovering your password isn't something they would overlook. Gamescon is taking up quite a bit of Mod power at this time and may have resulted in a longer response time. -

The problem is that this kind of people that lose their passwords its because:
They put whatever to the Security Question.
They put whatever to the email.
and also
They put whatever to the password and try to remember. -

I am totally of the belief that this is the bleeding stage. If you think about it, most people I've seen so far refer to closed/open beta as the best time in this game so far. I guess I'm lucky I didn't experience that so I have nothing to compare to. But, this game has not yet developed fully. There is still time. We must help keep alive one of those key aspects as I said in my thread Kelathe, the community, no matter how small a fraction of the whole CF population it may be. -
Long story, make sure you have full understanding of the T&C.
I wouldn't be asking these questions if the T&C were clear and concise. They have major gaps and the problem here is that I still find that many of them are still an issue regardless of how its put. Swearing in any language is not acceptable, but we seem to be the only ones that get penalized for it through a number of methods. -

this game is just gonna go downhill are they even trying to make the game bigger ? like getting sponsor's and such >? getting more league's ? instead of adding useless junk try getting more competitive content in the game adding useless junk only means less competitive players > less teams in league's > league's will probably leave > less sponsor's and so on .... -

I believe they are trying to get more sponsors and seem to be successfully doing so. Wogl, and Gamescon seem to be the first start. And they hinted that the RPK-Gold and the M4-Crystal were for 'promotional' purposes. But they never did clarify exactly what for. They are making this game bigger in more ways than just one. Some people play this game for more than just the competitive aspect as well, remember that. -

Sadly I have not see any signs in this being acknowledged by anyone other than the community. Or if it has, they have not let us know. Its hard to determine if it is a fault or not without actual feedback. I was mainly expressing my thoughts on what I thought was a problem, hoping to either get the 'your right' thumbs up, or clarified.Why are you up this late?

10 times better in what way? Were they also free to play games? Or paying ones like COD? As then there's a big distinct difference and really shouldn't be compared. Besides, CF is a fairly 'new' game I like to think. Its still in the process of being more known. -

cf is 1 year old and a month or so not really new and at gamescon the booth looked bad was just a big box with 10 pc's in it kinda lame really even if they want to make the game bigger like more sponsor's more league's and such but the game has million's of problem's ye i know its free and every game has its problems but ive played allot allot of fps games and this one is in the top 10 with worse problems and developers there are allot of easy way's to fix on the forums even , like the ping problem are they even working at it ? i doubt that reg are they working at it i doubt that every patch this game looks like it 's getting worse reg and nothing really to help the game get better the only thing in the last patch that was good i would say is the buddy system like sometimes u see some guy get banned a week later u see him unbanned when he was clearly haking but strange thing is most players u see get unbanned when there clearly haking are extreme zp buyers realy strange isent it ? but yea im tired of typing for now -

Naw, there were reasons for me not becoming even a Mod, I respect that. And really, I'm not all that smart compared to alot of people. Polleus far exceeds me, even for being here for a short amount of time. All I'm doing is wanting clarification of rules that were supposed to be put in place. Not all that great. Probably ****ing people off more than anything. -

By diving into the depths of what we know as Z8/Crossfire forum rules, you prove your intelligence by even trying. Not saying its exactly what people want to hear, but I agree there should be a closer look at the current rules in place. Either from a point of re-writing them to be more clear or enforcing them to every "dotted i" and every "crossed t". -

Haha not only is that total BS cuz this is one of my top fav games of all time, BUT its IMPOSSIBLE to compare CF to something like COD. Why? Well, COD is a multi billion dollar video game franchise on multi billion dollar gaming consoles, and CF is a F2P computer game. There for any idiot that can attempt to compare this amazing game is nothing more than ignorant.. -

Sorry, but this thread isn't about who one would hire to become a mod and who would do whos job better. I've never been in a CF Mod's shoes to know what its like. And the same could be said for anyone else not such. So its impossible to say such, and would kindly like it not to stray off topic. Mods are not nominated. Agreed, you can't compare such things. I've seen far worse f2p fps games. And i have yet to see any that are better. CF tops it all. Even those huge game companies fail, its not unheard of. But comparison to the logic of such things is pointless and really, has no real bearing on the thread overall. Generally the only thing those big games have is similar ToA's that get enforced is about it.
