Not very much. I just bought sc2 for 67 dollars a few weeks ago, and I need to pay tuition in september..

you need at least $100 to get something decent

60 is pretty low, id say wait until u can spend about 90-120 and u can get a pretty usefull card.

Also:always make sure you have enough power in your psu before you buy though.

Don't need a super awesome one. My old one which is now broken was a GE force 6500 LE.

I just want something as good or slightly better.

super awesome card : $500 and up
awesome card : $300-500
decent card : $100-300
crap card: $75-100
$hit card:$75 and under

im NOT so sure the 8600 would run ok .

Don't get a gefore 8600 get at least a geforce 9400-9800 it's like a few bucks more but definitely worth it.
