Been working on this for the past couple months, and I think I finally have the final build decided:

So yeah, im buying and building this sometime this month, and felt the need to share the awesome sexy orgasmicness with everyone. This is my first computer im building from scratch, and I started off with a budget of $1500 and I'm at $1458 after rebates and promo codes.

Thanks to Cobra`, Dragunover, Deadeye, and Greycloak for helping me put the build together.

good stuff. i have a quite similar rig. not as up to date card but the 5770 still performs very good. have a tat more RAM though, but when gaming there is almost no difference between 6GB and 8GB
you ll have good fun with that one. crossfires engine and netcode just can t deliver

lets hope he wont! to be honest i was quite disappointed when i first played cf with the new rig. still FPS drops sometimes, where in other recent games i can record 16 9 format in FULL HD using fraps without even noticing the recording process. strange things..>)

Hell no this isn't the only game im gonna be playing on this. For my whole gaming life I've always played on budget computers at minimum settings, but with this baby I should finally be able to turn everything to max and still get good FPS.

And yeah, Crossfire is crappily coded and I probably wont get that much of a FPS boost even at minimum settings. Oh well.

I'm looking forward to playing TF2, Portal, and a bunch of other steam games at good frames per second at max settings

Make sure to check out Crysis. One of the greatest PC games ever. The graphics are ridiculously smexy too
