Guide to WINchestering
Alright, due to the massive amount of players who are going to start using WINchester due to the addition of it to GP mall, it seems to be a reasonable idea to give the people new to the art a helping hand.
1. It's not a shotgun, it's a rifle, not a sniper, a rifle. I perfer to think of it as a throwing knife to be honest, not melee, but close range and deadly.
2. Wallbanging, WINchester has 100% box damage which is a massive advantage, it kills in a single shot at close range, add that to a box and nailing people rushing behind boxes is a simple task.
3. Scoping, as compared to non-scoping. There's no real downside to scoping in unless your point blank. It increases chances of a mid-range headshot. Also as someone else on forums discovered the maximum effective range of a WINchester is 40-45 ft or so.
Alright, the best way to use it is mentally, this isn't an m12, you don't run around spraying and automatically get kills, use timing, and predict the enemies movement to your advantage, know when an enemy is going to be moving behind a box and time a headshot behind it.
Enjoy your WINchestering, and being kicked from rooms for actually, you know, being good with it.

Thanks, yeah. I get annoyed by people saying it sucks. It's not an m12 or scar light, you actually have to MASTER this gun. -
I only use my Winchester Scope in MM and GM but its ok.
Winchester is an AMAZING gun for BL side on escape mode. It's one hit kill upclose and since your rushing into the enemies base your going to get REAL close to some enemies. I have a screenie of me like 40-10 with WINchester in a 3v3 escape match. -

He ain't kidding. The WINchester r@pes in escape mode. Went 35-3 with it earlier today. -
man i hate this crap. at first, winchester was the gun that everyone thought that sucked. now someone slapped a scope on it, and everyone buys it. People go around spraying the damn thing like its a shotgun when its actually a close range rifle. I advise everyone who bought the whinchester scope to go watch Project Awesome 2. Learn how to use the damn thing before you buy it.

Like I said, it isn't a m12, you have to be skilled, and aim carefully. -

Winchester-S.. Schouldn't it be ZP instead of GP?dirtyboy95 wrote: »how can you see itäs supposed to be zp? just asking...
Well i don't know.. AK-74U is more a GP weapon, i mean Winchester-S is even better then normal Winchester and the Winchester-S is availeble for GP and the normal one is for crates + at Whinchester-S stands SMG. U have to admit its a bit strange. :P But i hope it stays GP becouse i bought it and i like it. It fits perfect with my Anaconda adv! -

The second you throw a scope on something everyone instantly thinks it's made for long range. I used it from a distance today and shot someone once before they owned me. I checked to see how much damage it dealed and it only did 2. After that when everyone started base camping I picked it up again and consistently got multikills. IMO the scope is just there to attract more buyers; it doesn't really function the way that people intend it to.

I agree, the scope is a misleading feature for many since it gives the impression of a long range weapon, and many users will buy anything with a scope.
But for me, i bought the winchester-scope is because i love the winchester, but couldnt win it in the crates, so the scope is easier to get, plus the paint is a bonus. -
Thanks for the tips, im pretty sure many will use it.
As for my experiences, its really funny of people picking it up to use a sniper and complain its awful, and scar-L and M12s users picking it and dying instantly because of their spraying habits.
agreed, but almost every1 sprays with m12,and noobs just pick up a sl and start sparying. -
