Blackwidow Ruined

Since the mini patch, theyve ruined black widow, taking all the spam spots and making wood thicker etc, totally took out the proness of this map.
I was thinking maybe we could get a petetion going to get it back to normal?
R.I.P Widow.
I agree 100%. they have taken away such a crucial part of any close comabt FPS.. next they will nerf the boxes.. =( -

Sigh...
I'm not sure if you've competed in any real tournament, whether it be CF or CS:S/1.6, but spam spots are a crucial part of game play. Obviously you're not going to designate a team mate to stand in GR spawn and spam catwalk, but the fact the it WAS spammable and you could do damage, or even get a kill, was what made it so interesting.
BlindRob could probably explain it better. -

If you know what you're doing, you won't be camping where you can get hit through a spam spot, and if you're getting shot while running into the area, it's because the other player got lucky.
Another sigh.
You don't have to be camping to be hit through a spam spot. I'll also have to disagree with your other statement. Proper vent communication can make spam spots very reliable.
I'll sit here and top your posts all night if you would like me to. -

Your previous post implied that you had to be camping and did you even read what I said about vent making spamming an actual skill and not just luck?
You're going to find a lot more people who will agree with the OP then with your point of view, so why not bring em back? Oh yea, because that would require work that wouldn't benefit z8 money-wise... -

If your VN, then yes. -
First thing a petition will never work.... You can't complain to a gaming company on what they should do with their game... especially when they got rid of glitched spam spots(considering you could only shoot threw one direction with most of the spam spots and it would come out a brick wall or something) and most of the spam spots where near the Black list spawn giving BL an advantage over the game.
2nd thing... Stop comparing games to Crossfire every game is different (Yes they all have similar aspects when it comes to FPS) but they are different and will never be the same. If you want spam spots go play CS then... -
vn1h.skull a very amazing player at spamming in Black Widow, legendary at spamming imho
In my opinion removing spam spots from BW was needed... it made A cat very difficult to play. At one point there were about 4 ways to spam cat walk without being seen. Good teams, really don't need spam spots. The reason the information was so important was because...
1) Know where you have to duck and dodge in order to avoid getting shot up.
2) Know where you can spam in the event you hear something.
3) Know where to stand, in order to reduce your chance of being shot.
Also as it has being mentioned... most of the best spam spots entailed shooting through more then one part of wood or bullets coming out of solid walls (which you can shoot through in some games) however in CF that isn't the case. And to be honest spam spots are by no means "smart" not having spam spots makes the make more difficult to take... many corners. If you honestly can no longer play Black Widow because of this well tough luck, learn to adapt or get left behind? -

Emergent game play will always be a plus in any game. Stripping it away does nothing but take a piece of joy away from said game.
Just my thoughts. -
Cypher... You're supposed to be on my side! although I do agree the one-sided spam spots were unfair. Also, the VN part or your post sounds...sarcastic?
I suppose, but that's game development honestly in this tournament if they hadn't changed BW I know a lot of clans would have used strats based around spam spots. I won't go into details but needless to say, it was quite sick.
Perhaps...
