Shovel Takes Skill

I am still having to tell people that it isn't the shovel that killed you, but rather the player. Every knife match I play I hear shovel noob and I am getting tired of it.I do not personally use shovel but it isn't a weapon that automatically makes you win or something along those lines. From what I have seen the players that are good with a shovel are also good with knife and axe. It isn't about the weapon because normally the players that yell, "shovel nub" are just poor sports or not very good at knife matches. To prove once again shovel really does take skill I am going to put some facts into this post.

shovel has less range than knife and axe
shovel does not always one shot kill.
The stab time on shovel is harder because it is so different than knife and axe
Good shovel users are always good knife and axe users.
Not everybody is good with a shovel .

agree'd. i got shovel for 90 days, and i got called a noob 3 times already in GM.

if the people would actually use the shovel once, theyd know it isnt a crazy weapon, right click kills in one hit all the time (i think) but its sooo slow, you have to change your timing.

also, ever since ive been using the shovel, ive been hitting people, watching their heads bounce back, and they recieve no damage at all. doesnt happen when i use my axe, or knife.

It does not take skill the first day i had it with Snipes i got about 20/3 in my first match.

Shovel is very unique in that its right click takes MUCH longer than axe or knife and requires good timing, it kind of messed up my axing going from shovel back to axe when it expired.

The real issue people have with shovels is that while shoveling as ghost everything on your screen looks fine and the kills go through. On the screen of the person getting killed its just a lag fest where it looks like theyre 6 feet away and suddenly your dead.

This right here is the truth. And you dont need skill for a shovel its used because its so easy to get a kill. Do you know ive been killed on the up swing from it lol thats not skill its noobish

i get killed after its already swung and im far from it, get killed when its behind the dudes ears.

DISAGREED!!!!!!!!! shovel is in a way a legal hack. the programing defects in the shovel are great advantages for the shovel users, but then again, they paid real money for the shovel so........

Yeah!,thats what i find with it,but whatever its a good ghost weapon and most ghosts are good with the knife anyway.
