Text TUT
So some of you out there may want to spice up your text when you post on the forum. Here is a short TUT on how to do so. (remove the * from everything when you actually try this)
1)Color: To get color in your text, before you write anything you would type [*color=COLORNAME]. For those that want more than your basic Black, blue, red and whatnot here is a color chart with the names of the colors. Forum Color Chart. Then at the end of your text, you would type [*/color].
2)Letter modifications: So there is the basic, Italics (Slanted), Bold (Thicker), and Underlined (You do the math). To get any of these it is similar to the colors. For Bold such as I have currently, you would put a [*b] at the beginning and a [*/b] at the end.
3)Font size: There are many different sizes. Once again like the color you would put [*size=#] fill the "#" with a number and at the end a [*/size]. Sizes 1-9 are the following
12345678and 9.
4)URL links: So pretty basic to post a URL. Again the same [*url=websitename][*/url]. The cool thing is, is that if you type anything in between those two sets of brackets it will take over the name. The link stays the same, but you can name it. E.G Crossfire's Homepage.
5)Images: So you find an image you like. You use the nifty BB code to post it on these forums. What you would do is right click the picture, and select "Copy Image URL". Then you would put in [*img]PICTURELINK[*/img]. For example this- .
Tip: Remember to take the "*" out of there when you type what you are putting in.
To all flamers: please don't bother posting on here, this is a TUT. If you know how to do it, no point in posting some nonsense comments on here.
Please keep this thread alive, as I would like for it to always be easily available.
If you found this resourceful bookmark the page so you don't lose it!

Uhm, I know somebody has mentioned it before, but 7 is the max size.
I won't flame now. Just testing.
