How helpful is Armour?

Well recently I have considered getting Armour and was curious to know how helpful it is? If someone could give me details to how much it helps or doesn't it would be appreciated. Thanks....Sorry for asking a question that I'm sure has been asked a billion times.

Heres my opinion. It works but it doesnt work. If you get the vest it only works if they hit your chest. Ive had times where if i didnt have armor id be dead and other times where i died with 100HP still on my vest. Its one of those things where youll be like yeah im glad i got it and other times you might not be as happy you got it. I bought it for 7 days to try it out a couple weeks ago and since then i bought it again for 90 days. Id say get it because it does help. I dont know about the bullet proof helmet though as i just wanted to get crates when i got 100k yesterday and got nothing at all *cry* but armor id say is something worth getting.

I had it for 14 days, and yes it did save me on the odd occation, but i found it to be more of a psychological benefit than anything else.

TBH mine ran out and i didnt notice, so i carried on playing thinking i had armour and kept the same KDR in games i usualy have so when i noticed i had been playing without it i realised its not worth it AT ALL...

If your a good shot and have gamesense you shouldnt need it..

Yeah you dont really need it but if you really want to get it get it. Like i had it for those 7 days and still did as good minus 1 or 2 deaths difference but if its something you want get it if not its not going to effect you to much if you can kill before they kill you or take off like 90 dmg

I totally agree with you,,
like i said its a massive psychological advantage and will save you now and again.. I just dont see the benefits outweighing the cost. Or maybe its because i get too may lag shots hitting me

Play against some of the top players and it matters. Getting dinked in the head and living is extremely gay.

If you're asking is it worth it?
Idk, its pricey, but it does work and help.


Should you get it?
Don't be a ZP skank. This game was 100 times better with no Spops or armor, even when there were more hackers(blatent) running around.

wow so u rather have hackers than spops.....are u against this game?
anyways i didnt like the bulletproof vest,i felt the same.

I bought the armour package for 30 days, (helm + chest) however numerous amount of times ive died with 95+ still left on it, some occasions it helps but not that much more then normal imho.

Its main usefullnes is ghost mode. can stop you getting 1 stabbed, but barely so you gotta watch out for falling damage since the smallest bit of HP makes the diffrence.

Can save you in very sticky situations
e.g
Awm vs Awm
or rifle vs rifle etc etc
Yeh it saves you from getting pwnd by knifes by atleast 1 hit

wont save with AWM, still Ends your life with knees or above.

60,000 zp i got M4A1-c and on my first crate i got a Ak47-s and with 200K+ GP i got anaconda-adv

The bulletproof helps. e.g. u need one more shot with an AK-47 to kill sb. with chestshots. I tried almost every gun in CF on bulletproof, and made a long list

at times it helps its noticible but barely

it helps only if the shot hits the covered area. don't buy a helmet though, it doesn't do much. the vest is enough xP. btw, also buy the spop character so that u'll be a much smaller target since that chick is so slim

Probably because your helmet and vest arent on the same ac counter. And to be honest I think ac only covers vest. so when you get shot in chest and ac goes down a little but you get killed with a head shot which leaves your ac at 95 and hp at 0.

armor doesnt protect if shot in the limbs

Theres not much of a difference. However, there is still that "Extra" protection, which is greatly needed in certain situations.
