Cross Fire is going to Gamescom!
The Summer of Cross Fire continues with a live action trip to Europe's largest Gaming trade show and convention; Gamescom. In Cologne, Germany, August 18th - 22nd!
Cross Fire will be there with our very own booth. Computers to play the game on, and some of the Cross Fire staff will be on hand to talk to the fans and show off the game!
So if you live in the Germany/Europe area and are thinking about attending Gamescom, you have one more reason to check it out now!
We'll be posting more news about Gamescom as well as pictures, and a travel blog on the site for those unfortunate soldiers who can't make it! So stay tuned for all things convention!

Is this just meant for fun and socialization or is it something else?
It's all sorts of things. We're gong to have computers to play on and maybe some LAN tournaments throughout the week. As well as socializing and talking to the Staff on hand (someone might even get a chance to meet me in person!).
Other companies will have their games set up in similar ways. It's a chance for companies to show off their games as well as interact with fans and atendee's. -

Hah, that would be funny, and somewhat stupid of them. We're going to have conference only accounts most likely so people will be able to try all of the guns. -

Maybe we'll just have to get a Cross Fire tour bus and road trip all across North America?
I wish that were possible, but Gamescom is marking the first time Cross Fire will be at a convention/show/live (second if you count fan expo from 2008, which coincidentally is in Toronto) so if it's a success you can expect to see more stuff like this in the future! (hopefully)
