One Suggestion About Maps

The GM's should hold a competition where people who play crossfire, design a map of their own choice so we could bring our dream maps into reality. Also the competition, so not a lot of people can enter, the GM's should only accept the first 50 of so maps, then they will try it out and fix any glitches then choose the best map and make it into a TD, S&D, G.M, E.M etc... and the maker of the map is rewarded with GP or ZP

good idea and i have seen alot of other mmo's doing these contests.

its all up to the z8 staff now, its a great theme for a contest and im sure there be more if this follows through(custom guns, custom gear, fanart, etc)

well there should be a program released that helps you step by step on how to create a map, e.g how many of this and that you will need, how much stuff you may chuck into your map, what type of wall would you like, make a dead end, etc.
then there should be a thread made by the GM's or MOD's that tell us what criteria the maps need and what they look for in a map, this would make it easier for everyone so they go off-topic.
People who cannot create a map "good enough" can always make a few at first to get the feeling of it, then create a few more maps (if they really want to win) and choose their best one and fix up anything that looks wrong. AND SUBMIT IT. DONE!

What if, instead of us building the maps, the pro responsible for making maps is used, all we have to do is submit floorplans and a detailed explanation of what the map will have in it? That way all you'd need is pencil and paper (and a scanner) or MS paint/Photoshop/GIMP/etc..
