Gambit ask for IP Address?

I recently completed a survey, but didn't get my ZP from Gambit. I sent in a report, and they ask for the following:

Hi. Could you please tell me if you're a first time subscriber for this advertiser? If so, could you please provide us the following information: 1. The email address that you used to complete this offer. 2. Confirmation Email or mobile message that you have received. 3. Phone number that you used and the confirmation code you received(PIN). 4. Your IP address (refer to this link: www.ip-adress.com). - Denz

Do you believe it's safe to give them my IP address? (from your past experience with Gambit). Thanks for your input.

  • just give up surveys are a scam :) The surveys are computer generated , they know when you completed the survey . But they want you to give e-mail confirmation or a screeny , making you do extra work even when they know its been completed . They then take your info , sell it , make money . Then decline you your zp . Its all a scam . They make money off your info then just give u the run around .
  • People this dumb shouldn't be allowed on the internet.

Every single website that you visit on the internet can see your IP adress. Since you have visited gambit before, they have it. This is why they are asking you, so they can compare what you say, to what they have.

I could host an image on my own server, PM you with the image or just put the image in this post, and I could get your IP address since your browser would sent HTTP requests to my server to retrieve the image.

The next poster is probably trolling. I doubt somebody could really be this stupid.
