Crossfire Just Ignores us..

I have this problem , been ongoing for weeks , my pc is new 2010 HP desktop, windows 7 , tried uninstall/reinstall , I don't use a router , nothing wrong with my internet connection . ping test score was "55 ping 11.87 in .97 out . AV and firewall turned off , background processes turned off. all drivers updated . cleaned and defraged daily.
don't think pointing the finger at my pc is the fix. got a real fix ?

if it's our foult thane why we din't get disconct before and now we geting disconect becase the new patch are something wrong i geting disconct evrey map so i am now playing to much cross fire before i was playing 8 hour now i am playing only 1 hour becase i geting disconct evrey single map and today iwas in black market and i get disconect. pls fix new patch

I've got the same problem as this guy, I redownload crossfire and am good for a few hours, then it says server unstable and that some files are infected. I always join games late aswell, i'll join at the start of a game and have to wait three minutes to rejoin, this is on you guys, I have a brand new computer, you need to fix your game. AVG definently tells me a file is infected, so try making a secure file aswell if you're putting it up for mass-download. Unless you're trying to screw people out of their money and get their payment info. Sounds like a logical scam to me.

That my friend is bad coding, well not BAD coding but more of a traslation problem. It was brought over from korea and that game has better reg because for one it probably has better servers, better dev's, and better coding but thats what happens I play with 220 ping and for a gun that would normally take about 2-3 shots eg AK-47, I have to hit someone about 6-10 times in the same spot for reg... my fix is runing straight at them and firing my beretta like mad and wasting a clip to get one kill

P.S - the DC might not be the servers it could be a compatablity problem with crossfire and windows (only a theory...)

I had to reload windows xp and leave off all of my other programs.

generally speaking your programs send out pings or requests to their home servers for updates. Some of these programs do that frequently. In my case one of my processes was sending out an updtae request ( or similiar request ) and the xguard or whatever punkbuster we are using now would disconnect from the server thinking it was a hack program or something.

I went with New bigger HD. I have AVG. And went from xp to xp pro.

Since then I have had no problems. I havent reloaded any software as of yet and really have no ned to atm so I cant tell you which process of mine was sending out the signal and disconnecting my game but that was the issue.

Reloading crossfire did not help both with and without the AVG installed.
