You chose to pay for this game, you weren't pushed to do so.
Surely, the downtime is much much smaller than the uptime of this game. Don't stress out if there are some certain problems, they will be fixed with time.

First off, those who keeps saying its a problem on our side or its our computer specs, internet connection, blah blah blah, apparently has not suffered what we've suffered; this issue is extremely annoying and I've ran a ton of tested and can assure anyone that it isn't my computer specs but possibly my internet or the servers' internet.
If you guys check our my previous thread, I ran tests and it is discussed more in depth in there. Long story short, the problem on persists when I'm on University internet which is supposed to be really fast - I test at around 50 MBps or sometimes higher; I highly think that it has to do with either the server side or my University internet. I've ran the game on a regular DSL line at home and there seems to be no problem whatsover, the game runs flawlessly.
A few tests I've done is: running as DMZ, disabling firewall, running CF on a different computer on the same network, testing WinXP rather than Vista, forwarding CF ports, disabling anti-virus, absolutely everything I could think of that might hinder the communication from my computer to the server.
I really urge GMs or the support team to look into this, Ive sent in numerous tickets but all seem to be vague and unhelpful. At first, I thought this was a very uncommon error but not its clear that many of us players are experiencing this annoying issue. I spent a lot of money on this game and I enjoy it a lot when this isn't happening to me at home but I could see a lot of valuable players/donator leaving if this issue doesn't get resolved.
For those who are wondering, my computer specs/connection speed are as follows:
Speed test: 50+MBps D/L 50 MBps U/L
Nvidia 8800gts 512 MB
4gb ddr2 memory
Core 2 duo 2.2 ghz -
True, we did choose to pay or donate to the server but in return, you're getting a chance to play on it; if there were no donator or people supporting the server by paying, there wouldn't be one and you wouldn't be on here would you? Just something to keep in mind - no supporters = no server = no CF.

Well i just wanted to say 1 thing LOL my friend has this problem he cant play either but i can i never had this problem and considering alot of you are having this problem it might be crossfires fault. i would say wait about 1-2weeks mabey a patch will come out and fix this hope it helped bye! -
I'm having same problem btw. I can get on server, but I can't get on channel, a window pops up with message "Connecting to server". I tried everything, seriously. Rebooting/reinstalling, and don't tell me it's about my connection ^_-.
Does anyone have a solution already? -
Yea, I did to when I was up to school; since the lag is so horrible and the connecting to server appears and won't go away, I pretty much gave up and haven't played in a week or so, I just play whenever I'm on a different internet connection. You know what you should do? bring your computer to someone elses house and try testing it on their internet connection, I think that has a good possibility of working.

Did you guys recently start experiencing this problem? I've had this problem for as long as I could remember; I think it persisted every since this company was still called subagames. -

Please try and connect again, if you are still having an issue please PM me with the time you tried to connect at (please provide time zone info as well) and your computer specs.. also let us know if you are using a laptop or not and what model and brand it is. With this information we should be able to fix these issues faster.

Crossfire problem
WEll i have the same problem first i whait like 5 minutes to join game becouse off the resources before the parch i dont have these problem know if a whant to enter a room it said now conecting and freeze so i have to close crossfire and these problem start like one day two another so pliss i need help -
If we stop posting then how are they suppose to know we are having problems? How are they suppose to know anyone has problems if we don't post.. hmm?
they will post something when they did something and if they ask to try again with connect and we must post if it still not works after ask & try -

This is the problem i suppose we all have. Restarting, uninstalling, doesn't really fix this problem. Going to storage doesnt help as well, its just some bug. Ive PMed the GMs these screenshots. -

weird?! i had this SORT of problem with joining a room on a moment it said by me "joining room" and beneat it "cancel" -
well im on a laptop a ibm.. and i tried redownloading it doesnt work and i keep trying to join doesnt work. and i have kept trying and if i just sit their without doing nothing it says connecting and kicks me. idk what to do no more ive tried everything

Erm thanks, but Ive tried that, the out come is once you press create to make your room, nothing happens, the create room screen closes, and your still at the lobby, if you try to join a game again the connecting to server problem still occurs. But thanks, Il try using this method again.

Same here it is more then annoying, i might have to go to soldier front or something this is very annoying and it has been down for me for over a day.. -
Uhh.. HELLOOO, the problem is when you click new room and click create, NOTHING HAPPENS. And after a minute it just disconnects you. If it was the connection it wouldn't of worked a few days ago.. god dangit this is annoyingThis works for me, so try it.
1 : Close Cross Fire if it is not already closed.
2 : Run Crossfire.
3 : Sign in.
4 : Go to your server and channel you wish.
5 : Create a room, default settings is fine.
6 : Leave the room once you are in, and you should now be able to join any room.
7 : If the problem happens again, just repeat.
Why did I make this thread? Because I am sure it will get more noticed than if I posted in someone else.
