Screen Resolution Bug

Ok, So yesterday I went to play Crossfire on the regular resolution I play on (Crossfire's Max) and for some reason, my screen is moved over to the left....

I see about 2" of black on the right of my screen, and about the same amount is missing on the right side, but it goes all the way.

It only happens when I play on the wide-screen resolutions, but I don't like playing on any other ones, cause they are crappy arse quality.

I have the same problem. Except i can see the whole screen, but the right side of the screen is like locked off. I can't move my my mouse over to that side of the screen. I'm playing on a widescreen monitor.

I had that problem, I had to lower my actual screen resolution to fix it.

you lowered your monitor's resolution? or your desktop's resolution?

Technically thats the same thing....But, I play on a Widescreen Monitor (Asus MS238), and I have my resolution set to 1920x1080 and my Crossfire resolution set to 1024x798 or whatever it is. If I go any higher, I start getting that problem, but if I stay at that resolution, its fine. Although I really dislike playing games on low resolution. I bought a gaming desktop so I could play on Maximum Settings.

Funny how you never hear Mods or GM's answering any of the questions asked about THEIR GAME, unless they are asked 5 billion times.

set your desktop resolution to 1440 then put the game into 1440 resolution but keep full screen off and see if the game window will expand across the 1440 resolution screen if so put in full screen you may also be able to put your desktop up to 1600 and play full screen 1440 it worked for some people who did this

how the heck am I supposed to change the ingame resolution when my cursor doesnt even go that far right. In game it looks as if I have to move the cursor down and right a few inches in order to click a button. I obviously can't even click the X button on the top right corner of the game because the cursor won't move that far.

Or the easiest solution is change to 1024x768 and change it back when you're done with your game.
