Virus in GameGuard
So a clanm8 of mine just played normal for a long time.
Yesterday he discoverd that there was a virus in gameguard,
NOw the game won't startup...,
Anyway how to fix it?
He is using AVG
Must I be here for the problem?, or could I better go to GameGuard?

Well after a quick google I found this:win32/Themida from what i've been able to find out after a quick google is "Themida is a commercial packer using kernel rootkit technology" and not easy to remove
So I'm not sure what type of virus you have, but I'm pretty sure it's not Gameguards fault, since this is probably the only time I have heard about it.
Anyway, good luck. I'd suggest a good cleanup of the pc (i.e. booting safemode, running antivirus/spyware scanner and other stuff). -

hope you realise that there is about 87% chance this is a false positive it has something to do with corrupt coding/text w.e that makes it look like a virus when its actualy not -
It's absolutely a false positive. Themida is used with Gameguard, but there is no danger at all. In order for Gameguard to detect hacks it needs to exhibit some virus-like behavior. If you disable AVG it should work fine. It's usually not a good idea to have a realtime virus scanner running while playing games anyway.

Except that it doesn't really detect anything?
But yeah. Just ignore it. Its not a virus per se.
