  • personally i like the silenced weapons too for GM. I usually use the m4a1 silver or the mp5 adv. Really good guns in GM. when i use my ak its loud and hard to pinpoint the ghosts. I like things quiet to guess about 80% of where the enemy ghost is. its all abou the sound for me.
  • i change my orginal 2 that are posted somewhere in this massive posts, i mean there basicly the best but heres a new set:

    m4 gold: 38 spray bullets since EVERYONE loves to spray :3

    psg-RD: its sexy and shoots fast :D DONE!~

    In my opinion, the M4-Custom is the best GM gun. A Gm gun needs to have

    * Medium-speed rate of fire
    * Decently fast reload
    * High Damage from all ranges
    * Single shot head shot (as opposed to some guns, which require multiple head shots)
    * 30+ (preferable 35+) bullets per clip
    * Low to medium weight
    * low nice (preferably with a silencer)
    * Decently spread out spray pattern (for scouting when you can't figure out where the breath is)

    the M4-Custom fits into all of those. Although any skilled player could use any weapon, certain weapons are better for GM than others. Most ADV guns (excluding SG) will be great guns to use, due to their expanded clip size. Many extremely skilled snipers can use AWMs in GM games, it certainly is difficult, but possible.

    I suggest staying away from auto snipers, loud guns (such as SGs), machine guns (because of the weight), and guns with high rate of fire (your clip won't last long).

    Personally, I prefer the axe over the shovel and the knife. The knife's attack can be weak, and you're screwed against a player with armor and any aiming ability. the axe is a good weapon for massacring a room full of people, thanks to the left click head shot, and the decently quick right click shot, though the disadvantage of the axe is the 80 damage leg shots. The shovel is a good weapon because the right click attack is a 1 hit kill anywhere on the body, great for bunny hoppers, and getting players hiding at higher elevations, but the disadvantage is the long wait for a right click attack.

    Just to prove I know what I'm talking about:

  • XM1014 (XM1014-Advanced if possible)
    AK-47 Knife
    M4A1 Silver/Custom/Advanced
    MP5 Advanced
    XM8 Advanced

    Now for the reasoning:

    XM1014 - Close range, probably the deadliest weapon, next to the SPAS. One-hit kill at close range with an automatic fire-rate faster than a SPAS. You can also fire single-shots after each reload for a slower fire rate, comparable to the Winchester. The reason you should use the XM1014 over the SPAS is because of 2 things. First, the fire rate is much faster for tight situations. Second, the final shell you reload for the SPAS (the 7th one) triggers a pumping animation for the shotgun, which has proven to be relatively dangerous in some situations.

    AK-47 Knife - Most powerful rifle in the game, the AK-47, with a knife on it. Is there any question? If you're reloading and a ghost happens to come after you while you're reloading, just right click and they won't see it coming. This gun is also very good if you're about to turn a corner and you can hear breathing from that general area. Turn the corner and knife. The downside to this weapon is the recoil and the noise. Because of this, only shoot when necessary, and pinpoint before spot-checking.

    M4A1 Silver/Custom/Advanced - Without a doubt, probably one of the first guns a new player will pick up is the M4A1. Powerful, accurate, and average fire rate and reload time. The Silver, Custom, and Advanced versions have a silencer which is perfect for Ghost Mode.

    MP5 Advanced - For those who just can't use rifles for their life, the perfect sub-machinegun to use for Ghost Mode is the MP5 Advanced. The burst fire is fairly accurate, the fire rate is fairly fast, and the MP5 has one of the fastest reload time of all the guns in the game. To top this all off, it's silenced with +10 ammunition each clip. A well-placed bullet can take down an enemy in two or three hits very easily.

    XM8 Advanced - Single-shot headshots, powerful body shots, and a scope that beats it's predecessor in all ways. A skilled player can use the triple-burst scope without having any recoil effects. To top if off, a random fact about the XM8 Advanced that most people don't know.. the wall-shot damage is barely reduced. This is perfect for any ghosts you think may be hiding behind walls or boxes.

    And those are my two-cents. Hope it helped.

    Also, another thing. Don't use guns that deafen your team mates. Sound is the most important aspect of Ghost Mode when you're on the Global Risk side.

    Not to be a ***** or anything, but the first thing I noticed other than your score were the ranks of the people you're facing compared to your own.
  • Personally, I use the RPK. If you can use it right, you can get headshots from across the map in Lab/Complex.

    Iknorite xD I bet none of em bunnyhop. Easy kills ftw.
  • Any of the Silenced M4's. Good ammo, power, ROF and recoil, and it doesn't destroy anyone's eardrums. If you want to be a ***** though, any shotty will work great, especially the XM1014-Adv. ;)
