If there is any reason to leave this forum it's because of the amount of spam threads started and how dumb you guys can be by feeding trolls constantly. Hell, I've trolled on here before and people keep replying and replying until I stop replying. This forum lacks any sort of structure because the mods don't properly deal with spam. Some of the mods even post spam themselves (not saying any names). I'm sure your excuse is "we jus liek teh joke, dats all lolo" but really? I'm sure I'm not the only one that has realized the spam is out of control on here.
Anyway, do what you want. It's just a forum. If you leave, you leave. If you stay, you stay. It's not going to impact anyone's life significantly. -

Don't let them bother you, what they say doesn't mean anything and should be brushed off. The reason atm there seems to be more trolls, is because many of the good people have left for the reasons you have stated.
But if we stop feeding them and not leave the forums because of them, enough of us 'will' have an effect on the community.
I like this! ^^ If only we could somehow feed the trolls poison, or find another way to get rid of them. This thread is actually very sad, because people keep stating why they no longer enjoy the forums, but instead of good people trying to convince them to stay there are a lot of people who know the forums are going to poo and completely understand why others are leaving. -
Well, it seems that most of the people entitled to opinions on this have agreed with me. I'll pop back on the OT section from time to time, maybe in other areas to help out with any errors people are getting (the stuff like "How to I go forwards???!!!1?!1", I'm no technical expert.)
All of my points have been proven in this one thread, which I wasn't expecting, but I think it's helped you guys understand what this community can really be like at times, if you didn't already know. Which I guess you did.
Plus, 423 views of this? wow. Word might get round of the whole "stop being idiots" thing. -
It won't. its a shame, but this game and forums are only going to get worse.
hence why I'm leaving the forums now, I can cope in game cos you can ignore. But it's impossible to ignore on the forums. Unless you're Daniel8ru, then you make offensive comments about disabled people and refuse to apologise. But I'll ignore that. -

Well, thanks, I honestly couldn't care less if they flame if I return if I leave (wait wut?). Cos that'll just remind me why I left in the first place. I'll either miss it (I doubt it, I'd rather spend time talking to my friends on msn, facebook or even xfire. Yea, surprisingly I'd rather talk to people that think of me highly rather than people that are going to flame me for being 'bad'.) -

I've realized that my personality and reputation is different around people I know to that on these forums, mainly because I probably get dragged into flaming after I've been flamed. On Saturday on msn with people I know, 3 of my best friends were depressed, 2 for the same reason, but different takes on it. 1 for serious family problems. One of the first 2 is female and has been calling me a "sweet ray of sunshine" for the last 2 days, the other is now sad that he's going to college next year and is leaving me. The 1 with serious family issues is saying "I love you" every so often in chat, even if we're talking about the stupidest things. I don't get a chance to be like that on here, so Idk the point in me being here. The main reason I haven't gone yet is because of the world cup threads
Clan section fails for me, and that was the main reason I joined, to get my clan going strong again, that failed, but I've got in some members that are going to help us push on, so I don't even need the clan section anymore. Besides, it's filled with over rated clan hoppers with fail personalities anyways. (To avoid flame wars, there are bound to be exceptions) there's another thing, everybody takes everything way too seriously. It's a game. Lighten up. I don't care if you want to call my clan a fail clan, at least we're having fun. Looks like some of you guys could do with a little fun now and then.
1 Vs 1's mean fck all, a thumb war would be a better way of deciding pointless arguments.
I've just realised that these forums have got one positive thing about them, there are some alright people on here that don't flame 24/7. That polar bear guy was a breath of fresh air to you guys. I couldn't actually believe my eyes that you were surprised that there's a genuinely good person on these forums, I mean come on, there's literally dozens of CF players, someone's got to good out there.. Once you look past the hackers, glitchers, account stealers, random flamers, QQ'ers, little kids that don't know what caps lock looks like, little kids that don't know that ONE comma is enough and that you don't need a space after a word before you get to the unnecessary 3 commas. Oh, then there's wannbepro's with high ranks, who believe if you have a lower rank, they're better. They also can't possibly hack even if they are doing 360's due to farming a rank. Gratz.
