Why did my virus scan detect a virus today when i went to start up crossfire?

my virus scan picked up a trojan downloader when i started the game a few minets ago. Is this my anti virus making a mistake and picking this up as a virus? or has a virus been placed in your system?

iam going to try reinstalling the game, but if anyone had a similar problem id be happy to hear what you did to fix it

Stop using hacks. Then you won't get viruses.

1) Pretty much every hack that is available today comes with a keylogger.

2) Some bad antivirus programs detect XTrap as a virus due to the way it bonds with Crossfire and keeps itself protected, which in many ways is similar to the technique used by malicious software. Be aware that XTrap is perfectly safe though.


Deactivate your antivirus or add Crossfire and XTrap to some sort of exception list, if possible.

The fact that any decent technician can see the outgoing data to 'hidden' servers from the hack while running it.


I don't have to bad-mouth hacks, they wreck themselves solo.

KASPERSKY DETECT THIS TROJAN: Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Bagle.dnp

I never use a Hacking tools...!

damn ppl, i got the same fking problem (dont mind i cussed, becoz im very ****ed off). stupid virus made me reformat my whole computer, thought was computer's problem, but when i reinstalled it, and try it again, it says crossfire.exe has a trojan/downloader.win32.bagle.dnp...im using 360 antivirus. （ website: 360.cn ） u guys (z8games) needs to fix this problem and make sure the game is safe..coz that virus i searched it up, its very serious, that could harm the computer badly.
