I personally think the XM8 is a better weapon then the Scar Light,but you need a longer time of practice to be good with it,i think like the AK-47.Hope i can help you with that.Greetz

Here is the "truth" about the XM8.

I have scrimmed with this gun quite a bit, in fact for a while I was considering using it over the m4a1/aug.

Pros: Easy burst recoil, 1 hit head shot, 4 hit body shot, high pierce damage and its fairly light.

Cons: High rank requirement, high gp cost, very annoying spraying pattern, scope dot is very large.

Overall, its a solid rifle. It will never replace the m4a1, however it does have its own place and can be effective.
