See my point proven you don't report any more
Who would?
Noobs spam the reports because the got hs'ed and z8 cannot even read the reports because of the sheer amount and therefore clear hackers don't get banned.
We have basically got a system that has significant problems so much so that it doesn't work and is understaffed beyond belief and your suggestion? The most absolutely time consuming idea to get hackers banned because you too idle to report those 1-2 hackers that you see a month?
You and Z8 have been given many ideas to make the system workable and one is unwilling to change and the other? well he thinks more time consuming exercises will help. -

Ok atleast i can understand the response this time YEA the reporting system fails thats why im suggesting that Z8 start taking care of it......
Z8 seems to Update and change the Anti Hack program but it only keeps the hacks out for 1 to 2 weeks some times it only works fro 1 day then the hacks are back.....
I just think after starting this thread that my suggsetion has CHANGED to Z8 Please take the reporting away make it so that GM's or MOD's are the only ones that can report players take away the public reporting .... then Z8 wont have to look at so many false reports the person that looks at reports all day can stat doing other stuff ....
P.S, my idea is less time consuming due to the fact that less persons are handeling the report there is other stuff to report than hackers HUH? -
Only give the staff sargents ability to report hackers. Change the reports to in game, so that it's not so much of a hassle to do it. The burden of proof should be laid upon both parties in the report. Have a replay or something of the two sent to z8 for review.
This should thin out the reports some, since anyone who's made it to staff sargent should better know the difference between a legitimate player and someone who is unfairly using a program or exploit to gain an advantage.
In counter-strike (on the servers that I frequent, at least), hackers are banned when suspected and have to prove that they were innocent by uploading the demo that was automatically recorded before they were banned. This demo shows exactly what THEY see, so it gives pretty much undeniable evidence of wrong-doing. -
Thanks good idea ma be make it so that Lieutenants or higher lol!Only give the staff sargents ability to report hackers. Change the reports to in game, so that it's not so much of a hassle to do it. Yeah.Z8 seems to Update and change the Anti Hack program but it only keeps the hacks out for 1 to 2 weeks some times it only works fro 1 day then the hacks are back.....
Because those hackers only get their account that they hacked on closed, there is no ban at all not even IP so those same hackers just create a new account and find a new working hack.
Banning would solve most the problem, some ban, any ban at all would reduce the number.I just think after starting this thread that my suggsetion has CHANGED to Z8 Please take the reporting away make it so that GM's or MOD's are the only ones that can report players take away the public reporting .... then Z8 wont have to look at so many false reports the person that looks at reports all day can stat doing other stuff ....

Yea it's less time consuming in the sense the reports they would be dealing with are bona fide hackers but GM's are the only ones that can close accounts and there is only one, so this would mean hardly any hackers get banned if any, sure they could get more GM's but the sheer scale of the game servers/channels/rooms there is no doubt hackers would get a free ride.
I still think an in game report feature that sends the replay to Z8 automatically with a little filled in information from the reporter would be so easy for the reporter to do and almost hassle free, it would allow in theory any hacker at any time in any room to be banned (not just when a GM sees it).
The problem with the above though is every noob would be spamming false reports, when noone is hacking (many people don't know how to report now and z8 get inundated with reports), that's why I think z8 should have an in game report feature but a 'report' only becomes a 'valid report' after four people report the same person in one game, otherwise the report doesn't get sent and is never reviewed.
That along with bans. -
yea like I said there is a need to improve the way z8 does the reports and Bans but there is always the fact that the hacker can always just start another account I think z8 hopes that the hackers will get tired of starting new accounts and working on them to get a set of decent guns so they stop hacking to have a normal play of CF but there will always be people that want skills when they have none lol.
