sometimes when i try to connect a server i wait for 5 minutes and then it says: "disconnected from server", and sometimes after "STEP 4" it says "disconnected from server", and only a few times i can play. I don't use laptops or else but my net sux. Pls help

Its your internet, when your computer is trying to connect to the servers it is timing out and disconnecting you. No real way to fix this besides upgrading your internet or not running anything that uses the net along with crossfire.

It is also more beneficial to be wired to your modem instead of using wireless connection
