Fraps not for me - any suggestions?

Here is my comp spec. I know, its not soo great like you guys have it there.

Win 7-64
ddr2-4GB
Gts 250 nvidia 1GB
Core 2 Duo @ 2.33 GHz (e6550)
Hard Disk - no need to worry, plently of spaces

What game recorders do you guys use? and is it compatibile with the X-trap? Cuz, I tried WeGame and X-traps comes up with an error.. I understand that powerful CPU cores gives a nice bunch while recording. But thats what I have...

Fraps is definitely not for me. Gives me a hell of a FPS lagg while recording. Xfire almost same as fraps or even worse for me. sry. I would like hear from you especially, if are a non Fraps user to record CF.

And Fraps users, any tweaks or suggestions? Any GPU plugins?

I always use GameBooster and additionally, I also end some unwanted processes.

i dont like fraps myself, u could try xfire or gamecam

For me, Xfire is almost same as Fraps or even worse. I might try GameCam, but is it compatible with X-trap?

But i heard that GameCam is almost like screencapture recorder, rather than game recorder.

Has any1 tried PlayCaw or Growler? I have just heard about them. Any good?

lag it gives is not terribad, only costs me 20 fps

I used them all, xfire lags yes but remains playable, fraps is the worst of the worst imo and wheter gamecam is compatible with xtrap i wouldnt know and yes it is a full fledged fraps recorder. The best experience is your own, gl

GRowler is no longer acceptable by x-trap... tried it this rmonig, same as PlayClaw, not working with x-trap, nor is WeGame, non of the recorders I use work anymore... now I guess I have to record w/ xfire w/ 40fps.... but it feels lke 2 fps

i dont get 1/3 of that in a 1v1 with lowest settings and gamebooster

w/o recording.

I love GameCam, but xtrap sees it as a hack (at least it did the last time I tried it).

I use Growler Guncam and LOVE it. ZERO lag and good video quality.

I have Fraps, but it lags me and I have a good PC and video card.

Look at some of my crossfire videos. They were all taken with Growler Guncam.

I haven't tried either capture program in over a month so I don't know if they still work.
