help with display malfunctions

ok heres my problem.while playing my screen will freeze, cant tab out or do anything locks up tight. after a minute or 2 i get the message appearing vtdisp display driver has stopped working and then my screen is pixel'd out real bad. i have to restart comp to get my settings back and the driver to start working again.

i am using windows xp on a hp pavillion a610n. i whent to the proper sites and updated the unichrome drivers hoping it would fix the problem.well it hasnt......and i dont really know whut else to do?? any1 have a fix?
