Addressing the Surge of Cheating in CrossFire Ranked Matches

Lately, I've observed a troubling increase in cheating within CrossFire's ranked matches. Players are exploiting hacks such as wall hacks, enhanced hitboxes (notably through "name_deleted"), and non-locking aimbots, granting them significant unfair advantages.

Despite reporting these issues through the official channels For more than six months , the status of these reports remains "NEW," suggesting they haven't been addressed. This raises concerns about the effectiveness of the current reporting system.

The unchecked proliferation of these hacks severely undermines the gaming experience for legitimate players. It's imperative for developers and those responsible for game maintenance to implement robust anti-cheat measures and streamline the reporting process to ensure timely responses.

I encourage fellow players to share their experiences and insights on this matter. Let's collaboratively seek solutions and bring this issue to the forefront. Please tag anyone who might assist in addressing this problem. Additionally, I kindly request that moderators and game masters provide thoughtful, personalized responses rather than automated replies, ensuring our concerns are genuinely acknowledged.

Together, we can strive for a fair and enjoyable gaming environment.

    1. According to forum rules you are not allowed to advertise cheats ( naming a cheat = advertise , even if it is not intended, other players will start searching that name ), therfore any info you have you need to send directly to support in a ticket.
    2. Support policy don't allow players to know the report results - therefore usually reports don't get a reply or a status change.
    3. Even if the support answers looks as automatic answer, they are provided by humans behind a keyboard in front of a PC, just to speed-up the process and answers more tickets in same amount of time they may use template answers, depend on the problem reported, otherwise if they were to manually type every time basically same thing (as in most cases), just using different words, ticket processing will be more slower.

    1. Report Processing: Could you provide insight into the average processing time for cheat reports? Understanding this timeline would help set appropriate expectations for players who diligently report infractions.

    2. Anti-Cheat Measures: Are there ongoing or upcoming initiatives to enhance the detection and prevention of cheating within the game? Information on this would reassure the community that proactive steps are being taken.

    3. Community Communication: While I acknowledge that specific outcomes of reports cannot be disclosed, is there a possibility for more transparent communication regarding general anti-cheat efforts and their effectiveness? Regular updates could bolster community trust and engagement.

I am committed to supporting efforts that promote fair play and enhance the overall gaming experience. Any information or guidance you can provide on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to these concerns.

  • Weekly/monthly numbers of anticheat bans and post-report bans would be great. It appears that some actions are being taken (ingame notifications about reported person getting banned). This way it would be more transparent and maybe would also motivate people to actually report/engage more in doing so.
  • They have to many cheaters and can not deal with all of them. Ranked is just a big lie as most of the players have scripts or macros on their guns. I heard that players are changing some features in the game properties for the recoil which gives them leverage above other players plus on top of that I have 15 ping and people with 70 ping can see me first. My internet is 450 MB upload and download and obviously I have sent them tickets and some of my clan members send them tickets as well but the Crossfire Mods or whatever they are said we need stronger PC`s. My belief is they have to many problems with the servers and the platform which the game is built on and can not fix the game anymore and trying to squeeze the last drop of money from the game.
