Why can't I start the game?

I get a pop-up message as soon as I launch the game:"An error occured while downloading a file necessary to run the game.Please restart patcher."I have uninstalled and reinstalled it three times, but it still doesn't work.

I have already submitted it, but it’s obvious they didn’t really intend to solve my problem. They just sent me a generic solution that applies to most cases, but if that worked, I wouldn’t have raised the issue in the first place. Moreover, the solution is quite ridiculous, as I’m using the campus network. If I switch to the Wi-Fi provided for visitors, I can access the game without any issues.

Then send another support ticket where to let them know the solution from previous ticket is not working, , also give them all the details from above ( campus network vs visitor network ).

Personally i belive is very possible your campus network to have some restrictions set by local admin ( as for example some connection ports to be closed - and those ports are actually needed for game connection ).
