As you can see from rewards list -> when you reach lvl 59 you get back a total 10k ZP ,
So pay 20k zp for premium mercenary - and get back 10k zp in the end.

Please carefully read again the announcement , as it say :

" the Premium Mercenary Pass for Season 52 for FREE.

Actual season is 51 - means if you reach at least lvl 60 on actual season you will receive premium pass for free on NEXT season.
