Premium Server Access

This is my idea to limit cheaters.

There is a server which only premium players may enter. It will function like all the other servers. This "premium" is a new monthly type of pass separate from Mercenary pass and any other game passes. Access to the premium server must be purchase with zp (I'll let the devs/marketing/billing team decide on the pricing for this one). The pass can only be purchased at a specific rank (maybe). 

Premium Mercenary pass users can access the premium server for free/reduced cost (Up to the devs to decide).

Possible perks on playing on the premium server (I don't expect all of them to be added, just pick whatever seems reasonable or make up your own):

• A random premium server access player gets picked hourly/daily/weekly/monthly into a lottery and they may win prizes such as crates/crate tickets/zp/random/player-picked permanent weapons if they play in the premium server
  
• XP/GP boosts
• ZM4 boss card boosts every day (better chances of getting 3/4/5 star boss cards)
  
• Exclusive maps/game modes
• Mutation Mode increased soul points progress
• Daily login reward - crates/crate tickets/temp/perm weapons/items
• Mercenary pass +1 daily mission (Totaling 2 per day) to reach faster completion of mercenary pass (If the player has purchased Mercenary pass)
  
• Increase winrate on crates/New exclusive type of Gacha system from Garnet/Citrine/Lapis/Auralite/Black Market
  
• Able to purchase exclusive crates and open them in the premium server only
  

Some of these benefits/perks are super tempting and overpowered. Like I said, add only the reasonable perks. It's just to grab players into this server and isolate cheaters away from paying players. Any exclusive rewards earned while in the premium server can be used in other servers (except for the exclusive crates, open them in the premium server only)

Cheaters can buy the pass and enter the premium server and wreak havoc, but they will get reported and banned which they will lose out on the perks with the zp they spent. At the moment cheaters just enter any non locked & non password rooms they want and just cause chaos. Everyone is tired of them getting banned and just remaking a new account to come back the same day. With a premium access server, they risk putting zp on the line. If they get banned while with premium access, they lose out on the rewards and it will hurt them financially. Of course, cheaters will never buy this premium access.

Of course, the only downside is that this will just leave cheaters wreaking chaos on mostly F2P players and maybe each other (will be amusing lol).

Regarding the perks, we can take it slowly and just maybe 1-2 of the perks and then slowly add on more perks later on. The possible perks I mentioned are only suggestion, and they don't have to be added.

Much as I love the suggestion I am worried about splitting an already small player base, I think that would be a very valid solution when our numbers go up a bit so both servers Paid and free would have a reasonable amount of players

I think once we find the right balance of perks for a premium access server, we can filter out more of the cheaters. The perks I mentioned are only to encourage good behavior and to discourage blatant cheating, because of risk of losing out on your premium access zp deposit. The zp fee should be high enough where cheaters can't farm it easily in 1 free mercenary pass, but low enough for people to purchase. With the perks/zp fee in the right balanced, it should move more players towards the premium server(s), but enough to strain out the cheaters (because they're not willing to shell out the money to buy zp on a throwaway account).

A possible solution to the small player base, is to allow premium server access players to invite their friends (up to a certain number) bypassing them the need to purchase premium server access. They however will be guests and will not enjoy any of the perks. They'll just be able to play with their friends. Guests are not allowed to invite other players into the premium server. If the guests are caught cheating, they'll be reported/banned. I'll leave it to the devs/GMs discretion to decide how they want to proceed with the host that invited the cheaters into the premium server. Perhaps it was an accident and they didn't know that their guest was a cheater, or maybe they did intentionally invite cheaters. That will be up to the Z8 staff to decide. Ban or maybe just take away their monthly premium server pass and they'll have to wait for the next month if they abuse inviting cheaters.

plenty of cheaters drop hundreds into the game some even drop thousands and i personally know a few but i cant drop names here on forums and lets be honest here.. if they have money for cheats they have money to drop to play on the premium server aswell.

Lets not forget not everyone does the mercenary pass or farms it in the first place (kinda obvious from so many people not having the bullet proof)

ontop of that ZP prices in different countries are alot higher depending on their currency.


I can say from what i know that CFCN uses ACE anticheat and that alone still has issues falsely temporary banning people from clicking fast with cop/usp as examples or even just taking a shadowplay can sometimes temporary ban you for an hour

This won't do anything? Of course it will do something. It will put a strain on their financials. 

You said that there are cheaters who will drop hundreds/thousands on cheating. No one who drops hundreds/thousands of dollars on this game will dare blatantly cheat. The whales in this game are too afraid of losing their investment of rare weapons that they built over the years. For those hypothetical "cheaters who drops hundreds/thousands" they will be winning the darwin award and losing their investment. I'm talking weapons like golden (m4/ak47/de)/infinity weapons/vip weapons/rare skin guns. Would someone like you if you have these rare weapons dare to blatantly cheat?

Anyway, from my experience and a lot of other people's usual complaints, cheaters usually do it on new throwaway accounts. They will never risk cheating on a main account with all their rare weapons. These throwaway accounts are the ones I'm referring to as the ones that they will never buy zp for.

ZP prices in countries are different. So what if they are different? Z8Games adjusts their zp prices according to their currency there, that someone in those region can buy zp within their spending budget. Someone in Egypt will be buying ZP in Egypt prices, not North American prices. Also if the price of ZP is considered high, thats good then, deters cheaters. If they want to cheat, they can buy the zp and then lose out on it by being a moron and cheating.

You mentioned Anti Cheat in your comment. I never mentioned anti cheat in my original post, because I know anti cheat is not perfect and will never be. However some anti cheat is better than none. You mentioned that anti cheat can falsely ban people. My suggestion relies on the community reporting cheaters and letting Z8 staff review the evidence/gameplay. If people get banned, then the GMs have seen enough evidence to convict and ban someone.

The only country that has a different price for ZP iirc is Egypt about 30$ for 165k but in their country its alot


And trust me there are cheaters being blatant while having 90 vips on their accounts (: the person i know gotten banned 3 times now so far and every account he have had has about 80-90 vips so yes these people exist and i wouldnt call buying ZP or paying for a premium server a ''investment''



Account hijackers also exist and people using VPN's then getting banned while have dumped hundreds into the account..



If u want another example is CSGO where people can closet cheat on accounts in the 10-100k range even on faceit where it is harder to cheat yet people can drop 200-400$ on cheats or cheating with DMA and such.


Speaking on ACE its not amazing but it does work and still is learning as it is a AI based anticheat
