Somebody know what that Feature is useful?

Havent played much at all, just patched it from time to time to see whats new, and i found that "Weapon Safe" feature, but for what should it be usefull??, sure it says you can store guns in there and cant use them while they are inside that, but for what should anyone need it? is it a Special Weapon Showcase on the players profile? is it option to transfer that guns inside that safe to another account?, i dont see the point from that feature, or let alone from the "explanations" ingame, so maybe somebody already bought it and knows whats for and can tell me what for a use that feature should have
