more problems with the PSG-1?!??
Ok, so today is Friday, and I'm all excited because the PSG's fire rate is fixed,
YAY, that $80 I spent on the Black Market is worth it again, I can snipe with the best of the AWM users again XD... NOT
though the fire rate is fixed, I noticed a slight, very small, yet extremely significant difference, you've lowered it's accuracy, that's fine is short range combat, but I mean, if I can get someone in my sites, I should by all rights be able to shoot them... now it appears the psg at long ranges is more of a spray and pray weapon...
I was playing in Monaco, and had a bead on a sniper that hadn't noticed me, I was thinking HS, BOO YEAH, then to my suprise, I shoot, and nothing... I'm like "that's weird" so I shoot again, nothing, I went through a whole freaking clip wthout ever hitting him, because apparently the distance in monaco is to large for my character to be able to take that shot... so waht if I can take the shot, doesn't matter, my character cant,
I ended up killing him, but with body shots, and even then the spray, though small, was large enough for me to miss twice... the final shot hit his head... I was aiming for his heart
it's a freaking SNIPER RIFLE, and it ain't nearly as powerfull as the AWM... I realise you may want to incourage the use of the AWM, but when someone pays real world $80 to get a gun, he expects it to work like it should... please, PLEASE fix the PSG-1's aiming, I really hate having skill taken out of my equations when I'm gaming.
I realize it may be an attempt to make a gun more realistic, but I will say this: It's a sniper rifle, not a regular run of the mill rifle, it's capable of putting 50 rounds into an 80 mm circle at 300 meters, a mere 3.14 inches... at 300 meters... and that's rapid fire, it's comes equiped with a scope that adjusts between 100 and 600 meters,, and while 600 is considered it's maximum range, it's still surprisingly accurate (when not using rapid fire) out to as much as 1000 meters
Is Monaco, by any chance, anywhere's near 300 meters across??? I didn't think so, thanks in advance

Well you can't just spam with a sniper rifle if you want to get headshots- and not all sniper rifles have good aim. My dragunov has about the accuracy of an assult rifle, or worse, while standing up. If you want better accuracy, get a slower weapon. M700s are actually really good considering they're free, and in skilled hands is better than an AWM. PSGs really aren't as good as people claim they are, and in maps like Monaco you really need the most accuracy you can get, something that a mobile sniper rifle really can't offer.

it's actually one shot with the PSG if you were good with it, because it had a dead aim, if you could make a shot to anywhere along the exact center of the body (croth shots are a fun example) it was lethal, just like a head shot, it was a one shot kill,
for that reason, and it's refire rate, it was a fun rifle for me, you shot fast enough to prevent an awm user from being able to shoot you (unless there really good, or lucky) if you got off that first shot, if you really are a good sniper, it normaly only took one shot anyways... I realise why I made you laugh, after reading over my post in the morning, I realised that I came off as a whining little kid XD
the last thing I loved about it was it's smaller zoom, it's all I ever used with the AWM before I switched to the PSG, because it allowed me to see more, and the ability to more quickly switch between it and the zomed out view was a bonus to me
... like I tried to say, I've always been a fan of skill weapons, and the AWM, though a great weapon, felt to... i dont know... overpowed in my hands... game wasn't fun using it, the PSG was the perfect draw between too much power, and the ability to show off my skills... for now it's too innacurate for the second one, so I've switched, albeit reluctantly, back to the AWM 
... I still would love to see it fixed though.
it wasn't the spam that annoeyed me, if it became a little (not alot) innacurate when you shoot fast, it wouldn't bother me, I like aiming, what bothers me is when my first shot goes off into space when I aimed at the ground (sarcasm intended).
... scratch that becoming innacurate part, poping off 3 heads in 1.5 seconds is fun XD
especially the typing of "that was totally awesome" that you're privileged to do after it :P.

I wasted $150 to get my PSG-1 Red to find out they reduced the magazine by FIVE bullets (15 vs 10), and now it can no longer kill people in one shot. I went in a game with a friend to test--Core shots do roughly 80-81. Legs do 49-50 (can easily take 3 shots to kill someone if you hit the legs).
Overall, I'm ****ed. I now have a worthless sniper rifle that has no advantage over the M700. **** you Z8
