Need help! Not Able To Communicate With Fellow players

Hello everyone. I know this is not the right place to ask about it, but I am facing this serious issue since last evening. Usually, I use Steam Voice Chat to communicate with other players, but this chat feature is not working on my PC since the last update. I am not able to communicate with them. One of my friends shared with me one article to perform to troubleshoot this issue. Can anyone tell me if I should go ahead with this article or suggest some other ways to solve this issue? Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated.
